A very even game that felt a bit like a smash and grab, Vinicius JR however being the game changer with his 2 goals, taking him to 5 goals in 4 games, so far proving to be an astute signing in our push for promotion.

Sparta Prague 0-1 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

A good enough result against a team who are in our ilk for sure. They started throwing everything at us and we stood firm, our plan was boring route one, but it solidified both sides of the pitch for us and once we switched to counter attacking, we managed to get the better of the game and nicked it late on.

It's a professional display, when attacking football works you can get decimated but we picked out moments and it's great to get that first win of the season. We know we're not going to match the highs of last season, but we still have expectations to hit and every win is vital for us.

We did well, we know we can do better, but we will improve for sure now we have something to build on.

Lazio 2 - 0 Atalanta

Another good win against a good side Atalanta we need to keep this momentum going if were to return to the topflight we just need to keep performing like we our currently and we're in with a good chance.

Rennes 1-2 Real Betis

This was a good game with two sides who came out looking to play entertaining football. I want to say that made it enjoyable but only if we end up on the right side of the result.
We gave a good account of ourselves but in the end Betis had that little bit of extra quality up front which saw them get the win.
Overall we can be quite pleased with the performance and can expect to pick up points if we continue to pay like this.
