    MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 West Ham

Job done but very surprised West Ham stayed defencive all game. But we lost Adeyemi to injury and Smith got the nod off the bench, so we lacked a better attacking option (maybe a conditional to actually use one day), leaving Slory on the bench. We was only going to win but we made hard work of it really and rode out a 1-0 win.

Job done, really all we can say as we still lack a killing edge at times. But a wins a win, and into the last 8 we are.

      Crystal Palace 2-1 Brum

Against a Premier League side we were excellent and very nearly caused an upset. Can't fault the team in anyway. Everyone gave their all and on another night we might have progressed.
Played Rob, goodluck in the next round.

        Spurs 0 - 2 Chelsea

We recently lost to Spurs away in the league so I did fear the worst when we drew our London rivals out the hat. We appeared to have much the best of the stats and actions in the game though, probably assisted by Spurs getting Vrsaljko sent off just after half time. Both sides played cauctiously and the game was taken to extra time. We threw on super sub Tadic for the extra 30 minutes and although he didn't get registered any goals or passes or anything, I like to think that he increased our team output being the lucky charm that he is, and allowed Firminio and Doku to add the goals in extra time that sealed our passage into the FA Cup Quarter Finals.

            Bournemouth 0 Aston Villa 3

Quite a spirited effort from little Bournemouth who held the top Premier side to 0-1 at half-time before a red card AND penalty to their best player Reyna ended any hopes of forcing extra time or a big upset. Villa could probably have scored a lot more if they hadnt chosen to go defence at 0-3

A good and very useful cup run for Bournemouth earning some good money and minutes for the players.

Bournemouth remain in search of any offers. With over £96m in the bank they could help a side into a strong position for the mid-season auction.

                FA Cup 3rd Round

                Fulham 0

                Wolves 4
Joao Pedro (37,42), Pascal Struijk (49), Nicolas Jackson (81)

                Booked: Chaka Traore (5)

                HT: 0-2
                MotM: Nathan Tella (Wolves)

Unfortunately for the home side they turned up without a manager’s guidance. As a consequence, Wolves dominated the match with a massive amount of possession and 14 shots on target. Aaron Ramsdale, on the other hand, had nothing to do all game as the Cottagers didn’t muster a single shot on target. A performance that saw many home supporters head for the exits long before the final whistle. Joao Pedro had a great five minute spell late in the first half picking up a brace of goals and setting the visitors off in style. Nathan Tella had an excellent game and was in amongst the action throughout, however it has to be said that he will be hitting the training field for some much needed shooting practice after he failed to net a goal from his eleven shots on target.

Good game Joe. Hope it was just a blip and we see you back in the dugout soon.

Next game for Wolves s a trip to south Wales to face Matt Rose’s Cardiff City. Both sides have full squads to choose from with no injuries or suspensions.

                  Everton 0 Liverpool 3

We certainly haven't had our troubles to seek of late and went into this one on the back of some terrible league form and with confidence rock bottom.

We expected to face a counter attacking approach but gambled that our preferred passing style would finally click into gear. Goalless at half time and with the game on a knife edge we finally managed to make the breakthrough in the 54th minute through de Tomas which resulted in Everton changing to a more adventurous approach and we were able to capitalise with a double from Mudryk.

No doubt 3-0 flatters us but we were certainly worth the win and are pleased to progress into the next round as already it's looking like the only chance we'll have to compete for silverware this season.
