The Fa Cup - the greatest cup competition in the world.....but not to Derek Purvis who failed to get on the team bus tonight. With the Watford team in disarray without the calming influence of Purvis, Bournemouth were able to dominate this game. A 28-6 shot count was very comfortable but Bournemouth could not get the ball in the net. I_Zabarnyi (56) finally broke the deadlock which also saw him pick up player of the match.
Caretaker Marsh added "Great result. More cup matchday income and more chance to get player minutes on the board which is crucial for the club. The players we had to bring in all need major minutes and so their is a real headache satisfying all the demands over the season. An extra 90+ minutes eases that ache".
Millwall are in the hat for the FA Cup 2nd round and are set to receive a much welcomed additional £2.5m and hopefully a chance to get fringe players some minutes.
Millwall rested Esse and placed Kadabayi on the bench, and got Simpson his minutes as well working towards Cardy's minutes. Sanderson was meant to replace Simpson on 45 minutes but the form was filled out incorrectly and Windebank apologised straight away after the match to Ray Wallace as Thiago Silve was accidently subbed instead of Simpson. In another error Kabadayi was brought on for Cardy instead of Rossiter which would have meant Rossiter would have started working towards his contractual minutes.
Mistakes aside this was another routine win for the Lions with the home side not registering a single shot on target.
Rasmus Hojlund got his 2nd goal in two games in the 15th minute, with Thiago Silva scoring a sensational first goal for the Club too make the score 2-0 with just 37 minutes on the clock.
The game was wrapped up just before the half time whistle when Cardy flicked the ball to Enzo Fernandez who scored a sensational goal for his first goal in a Millwall shirt to give the Lions a 3-0 lead.
Millwall shut up shop and the 2nd half became a non event and Millwall find themselves in the hat for the 2nd round draw.

I am very happy with the result and performance but very disappointed with the mistakes made with the substitutions. Not only did we let Ray Wallace down but we also missed the opportunity to get some much needed minutes into our fringe players.
We are hoping for a home draw in the 2nd round and hopefully a League 1 side as we really want to be in the 3rd draw when the big boys enter the competition.
But football is a funny game and for some reason I have a feeling we will be playing the FFO Godfather's Norwich City
First win of the season see’s us progress with a sole Calum Marshall enough to get us over the line. Bradford put up a good fight and we had to be wary but it’s the result we should have got with the difference in squad quality.
Norwich 3-1 Sunderland
Returning home to Carrow Road for the first time since 2009 and we once again let a goal in early doors. Laidlaw got his second in his two games since his over priced move to the club.
A red card followed for the men in yellow but a freak own goal by Sunderland departing defender Livramento (Toon Toon, Black and white army haha) gave the Canaries the lead for the first time in the game and this season
A misery compiler from a defender signed for pennies made the game 3-1 and got the club a R2 match with Brighton
