Marseille 3-0 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

Battered from start to finish. This game shows that deep down we haven't got a strong enough squad and it really emphasises that our early season run was us over achieving. But We can't say much, this Marseille team boasts players who are levels above us and that made full use of it today.

Villarreal 3-0 Ajax

The result makes the game sound more one-sided than it actually was. It was a very even affair but we just had more quality in front of goal. The three points keep us top of the league just! Marseille are hot on our tail and boast a stronger squad so we'll need to be flawless in the last seven games to maintain our position. I'm confident we can be.
Disappointed Divock Origi got sent off as that means he misses our next match but we have enough depth in the squad to cover his absence.
