Teamsheets MUST be in by 3pm on Game Day
BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
Bore draw but with us missing one of our main defenders it was pleasing to keep a rare cleansheet. We played OK away from home but we didn't come to really make chances, the plan was to limit theirs. They did have more shots etc but to me neither side can argue on this result. We'll take it and go again against PSV on Friday, where we know we need to get back to winning ways, it's now 6 without. We need the forwards to wake up a bit, we had a spell of nicking goals but the front men have dried up a bit recently, maybe Edwards was more pivotal to us than we cared to imagine, Obikwu will come good in time, but Gyokeres needs to start finding the ne!
We're still up there, just, still clinging onto the top 6 and we'll do that as long as we can,
In the end it was a convincing win but the score-line is quite harsh on Lens. It was a relatively even game throughout, we were just more clinical in front of goal. Krystian Bielik put on a masterclass in the centre of the park and came away with the MoTM award and two goals. Divock Origi got the other and kept up his great goal scoring form of late.
Win keeps us in top two and pushing for promotion.
Played Chris, unlucky.
