Red Bull Salzburg 2-2 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

Another late goal to salvage a point and we tried the route one game to being and their attacking game plan was too much for us until we got a man advantage. From that point we enjoyed more of the game, after levelling Red Bull quickly put themselves ahead. The tie looked over before the old dog Rakitskyi scored in injury time to give us a point. The tactic we chose was never going to boss stats so we didn't have much control in the tie, but for a set up we selected we had hoped would strengthen us defensively we didn't really make many tackles in the tie.

We're still 3rd for now, which given the recent form I am very surprised we are still up there, we do need to get back to winning soon though as the top 6 spots are becoming very tight.

Villarreal 1-0 Frankfurt

Despite Frankfurt's position in the league we knew this would be a difficult game against Hopton's side.
Thankfully we were excellent though and deseved the three points. Bielik got the lone goal that puts us into the top two on goal difference. The challenge is to keep this up and see if we can maintain the position.
