Feyenoord 0 - 1 Atletico Madrid

and finally it happened..........Atletico player really poorly and won a game. It must be very satisfying indeed to finally get a win against the grain. Atletico simply never got going in this game and a shot count of 9-5 should have given Feyenoord some welcome points. An Odegaard winner however gave Atletico three points and a place back in the top8.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "Bloody beautiful that we have 3 of the so many lost points we should have had this season back. We got out of jail in this one".

Next up will be a game against a Roma side who are underperforming for the talent in their squad

Bayer Leverkusen 1 - 7 Real Madrid

Have to say that the scoreline was very harsh on Leverkusen in this game, our last game against Bayern we had a healthy amount of shots but couldn't hit a barn door, this game we had fewer shots but couldn't miss. Goals from all areas of the pitch was a a pleasing factor with Rodrygo answering his critics who had claimed that a certain French outfit had unsettled the star.

Lazio 2 - 3 Juventus

A potential banana skin as bottom hosted top, but Lazio are no mugs despite doing so poorly this season and we knew that they could hurt us as they did in the reverse fixture as we dropped points in that game.

We expected C from Lazio and were happy to play P and give up TA, but the hosts shocked us with an A tactic, perhaps expecting us to play E. Lazio's bold tactical decisions paid off instantly as they took the lead in the first minute and we were chasing the game.

Lazio changed to C as we moved to A to try to pull level and shortly before the half hour mark we did just that. Lazio stuck with their C tactic while we switched back to P but just 10 minutes later Lazio were infront once again and we had it all to do again.

Lazio went in at half time a goal to the good but in the second half we made it 2-2 on 60 minutes and on 70 minutes, Lazio switched to E and shortly after we scored the games 5th and final goal to give us all 3 points in Rome.

Statistically we were second best so a little fortunate to come away with the win. Good game Ryan.

Inter 3-0 Fiorentina

Oh dear, one of our poorest performances and results this season, just when it was starting to pick up.
Inter will be glad to avenge their defeat at our place earlier in the season, and were well worth it.
Fiorentina countered well from the off, but the tactics didn't seem to help, and even with changes, nothing went our way.
it didn't help Casemiro went off injured early on, and a 17 played for most of the match mind.
Perhaps the 4 players about to be sold got wind of their departures and played like they'd already gone!
Hopefully the new faces will bring about a better result next game.
