    West Ham 0-4 MANCHESTER UNITED

Once we started it turned out pretty one way for us. We started by countering West Ham and we rode a mini storm before breaking through, Once a goal up some tactics changed and then we really got control in the game. We managed two more goals in the first half before going all out attack in the second half. We did only manage one second half goal but to be honest at 3 up we started to look to ensure players needing the most minutes stayed on or got on the pitch.

Adeyemi has had a slower season than we want but he bagged a hattrick today, this could hopefully kick start his end of the season. We need big performances with the games coming up. It's almost like we're closing on a run of cup finals with the top of the league so tight.

But again, vital 3 points, 12 games left still plenty to do as the season draws on.

      Southampton 3 - 4 Arsenal

After a bit of a poor run we now make it three wins on the bounce and a massive win in this round against a side who are doing really well and went into the game above us in the table thanks to another double from Timo Werner and a goal a piece from Saka and Ansu Fati.

We were in control of the game for the majority and at 4-1 up, were made to sweat as The Saints made a good go at a come back to get it back to 4-3 with fifteen minutes to go but we held out for a vital win and three points that although sees us still sitting in fifth place, we are just three points away from first place, not seen the table this close for some seasons now with first to sixth place separated by just three points at this stage of the season.

A tough game at home against Steve and his Chelsea side up next for us.

      Good game Jaime.

        Chelsea 3 -2 Everton

Back to winning ways, with Berardi getting his first goal for the Spice Boys. However, we did let a 3-0 lead slip to 3-2 so will need to watch that going forward. Our free youth Zefi got a full game under his belt and good mins also for on loan Stepanenko so good all around round for us. Next up is Arsenal away, and we will need to decide if we rest a couple of the players who are one yellow card away from missing the CL Semi against Inter.

          Barnsley 0 Liverpool 1

This feels like a really good win as Barnsley are absolutely no mugs and can be a tough nut to crack. We went with the E tactic and it's paid dividends again and for the 3rd straight game this week we've won 1-0 with a goal from a player we signed from Blackburn in that bumper deal in the early hours of Sunday morning. This time Grealish with the all important finish midway through the 2nd half to keep us right in the mix in the title race.

That said the top 6 in the table all won with only Southampton missing out. I'm sounding like a broken record but the battle at the top end of the table is absolutely unreal - only 5 points covering the top 7 places.

Next up for us a trip to Old Trafford to face top of the table United. A massive challenge against a very good side that hardly ever lose.

            Newcastle United 0 - 3 Manchester City

Another tough game where we opted to play C and hope for the best, only to be well beaten.

City came to St James Park giving away TA as we thought they would but just 9 minutes in we fell behind and just 2 minutes later they'd made it 2-0.
We switched to P to match them but it didn't really help as they made it 3-0 shortly after the break.

City were content with 3 and that's how it ended.

Statistically we were second best as expected, good game Nick. Good luck in the title race.

              Watford 0 - 0 Sheffield Wednesday

Bottom club Wednesday were very surprised to play a home side who desperately needed 3 points but whom played defensive for the entire game. There were only 3 shots in the entire game with Wednesday winning the shot count 2-1.

Caretaker Marsh was frustrated with this one adding "Very bizarre. The game was dreadful for the fans and both sets were unhappy at the game. The point does little to help Watfords plight. For Wednesday its a small continuation of the improvement with 4 points from 6 games, slightly better than what was inherited but they are further away from survival and games are running out. Only wins and wins in blocks will do from here".

Only 6 players now need further minutes this season for the full squad to be fully retained.
Danilo, Wendell, Placheta, Veron, Hogan and Mendy
