    MANCHESTER UNITED 0-0 Chelsea

We dominated early in the game and after that the rest of the game fell into an even battle. It was an edgy game really, but all in all neither side can bemoan the end result. That's pretty much all I can say on the game it was pretty much equal in my opinion. We do know we need to improve our finishing and turn the goal return around but thankfully we are getting better at the other end in keeping them out.

We remain top, but it's getting very tight in the places behind us so we need to get back to form. One positive, we have a full squad for the first time in what seems like a life time.

      Manchester United 0 - 0 Chelsea

Like Steve Outten said this was a very even game. Man U had the best of the first 15 minutes, then Chelsea had the best of the next 15 minutes. Then after then it was very even, close, tight game with several tactical changes from both teams. A point on the road away to the league leaders you are supposed to be happy with, but at the end of the day a point does little for both teams here. Still, we will take confidence from the clean sheet and thank our blessings that we managed our three players on a yellow still being eligable for the Champions League on Wednesday.

        Liverpool 2 Newcastle 1

We ended up facing a random after the Newcastle boss quit yesterday afternoon. Hate playing randoms.

Anyway we went a goal down early on and then promptly had Mahrez sent off so it wasn't looking good at all. Thankfully though we managed to turn it around through de Jong and youth player Halifa.

The win leaves us 2 points behind top of the table Man Utd so we are right in the shake up as things stand. A couple of poor results could see us slip out of the Champions League spots it really is that ridiculously tight.

Next up European 2nd leg at Blackburn who showed again today just how difficult that is going to be.

          Arsenal 1 - 2 Aston Villa

Three defeats on the bounce now in the league which is far from acceptable which kind of sums up just where I am with the game right now. Lack of input in sheets etc but even so, we are still putting in decent performances and can count ourselves unlucky that we have nothing to show from our last three games. The league table is not good reading for us either, plummeting like a stone. On another day we would have nicked this one the same way Villa did today but it wasn't to be. We know only too well that when the ESMS gods decide its a bad run ahead for you, it really is but we just need to ride it out and hope the end of season comes as soon as where we can decide what to do. Leave, go younger and rebuild, I really dont know right now.

Played Drum mate. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

            Sheffield Wednesday 1 - 1 Leicester City

The Owls did everything they could to win this one. An 18-7 shot count should have been enough to give the home side three points but poor finishing meant the spoils were shared.
The club remain firmly rooted on the bottom of the league.

Caretaker Marsh added "Frustrating this one. Wednesday really should have had a morale boosting victory but the players are on the floor confidence wise. One win could become two and a route to given the club a chance".
