    Borussia Dortmund 0 - 2 Juventus

A solid win against a team who are hard to beat and have caused us issues in the past. Dortmund are always hard to predict so we opted to play to our own strengths and it ended up being the same tactic as Dortmund. After a fast start we were ahead on 5 minutes and 2-0 up after just 16.

We switched to A in the hope that we'd score more but 2-0 is how the game ended.

Statistically we were the better team, but not by much so 2-0 flatters us. Good game Niall.

You might want to rename this to round 20

    Rangers 1-1 Fiorentina

A promising performance on the road for Fiorentina, despite it being only a point picked up.
It was a fairly even game, which we edged slightly, with two late goals balancing out the game.
It was disappointing to see Sanches go off injured early on, as the manager had hoped to see whether he would make a difference, it was his substitute Chiquinho who scored the 83rd minute goal that some dared to believe might be the winner, but Rangers struck back in the 87th minute to share the points.
There were good games for De Vrij and Kalulu at the back.
Next up is the small task of Real Madrid, and with Sanches out injured for two games it doesn't look hopeful

      Atletico Madrid 2 - 1 Lazio

Struggling Lazio brough the big-D to Atletico and it almost paid dividends. Atletico had the referee to thank for two penalties (the first of the season) the second of which was in the 91st minute.
Atletico probably would not have needed the second penalty had Dimarco not seen a red card in the 71st minute. With Lazio remaining D at 1-0 down it was only the 1-man absence that gave them the change to draw level. A shot count of 11-8 was just enough to win the game,

Manager Simon Marsh commented "I hope Ryan keeps plugging away with Lazio as I firmly believe he will get them out of trouble yet. They have had awful luck this season and hopefully it turns for him sooner rather than later".
