Real Madrid 3-3 Inter Milan

The opposition got off to a flyer scoring after just two minutes of play and by the twenty minute mark had doubled that lead. Fighting against a tactical advantage throughout we did get back onto level terms just into the second period only for Inter to nudge ahead again once more just ten minutes later although we did get the final goal to tie the proceedings up one final time. Going by the stats a draw was probably the fairest outcome although Inter Milan did do a job on us tactically.

Fiorentina 1-2 Sevilla

The purple ones just can't seem to get results in the league at the moment, and this was another case of what could have been.
Better side - check, Right tactics - check, More shots - check, More possession - check, more goals - no, win - no!
The penalty was perhaps the deciding factor, but even so, it was another frustrating night for the Fiorentina fans.
The main positive was Militao who had a great game at the back, and to add to the downsides, Boadu got himself sent off late in the game, with frustration setting in.
Quite where we go from here, I'm not sure, with a tricky game against Juventus next, down probably.
There have been more changes in personnel, with the hope big multi talented signing Sanches can be the catalyst of a turnaround.

Juventus 4 - 0 Monaco

An impressive win against a resilient Monaco team who've taken points off of some good teams this season.... & PSG/Bayern.

We knew they'd play C but we were happy to play P and give up TA.
After a first half in which we totally dominated, it took until the first minute of added time for us to go ahead, with a goal from ESR and we headed in at the break a goal to the good.

Into the second half and we made very short work of putting the game to bed as we doubled our lead 2 minutes into the second half. Tactic changes from both teams as the tactics switched from P vs C to A vs E and WE had TA now.

2-0 became 3-0 just 5 minutes into the second half and the game was over. A 4th was added on 70 minutes to add some gloss to the result.

Statistically we absolutely battered Monaco, 29 shots to their 4. 18 shots on target vs their 1. We should have won by a bigger margin if I'm honest. Good game Bridgey.
