BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
A bit of a dull affair away in Bristol. Both teams came to play counter attacking football and it fared for a boring one. No goals in the game even when the hosts switched to P on 61 minutes to give us TA and we take a share of the spoils.
Statistically we were slightly second best so we’ll take a point.
8 points from our first 4 games isn’t bad as we steer ourselves away from the bottom of the league. A few deals here and there could see us push for the top 6 by the end of the season.
One of those annoying games where we battered Sunderland and had so many opportunities but sadly our finishing was incredibly poor. Getting some perspective on it however, Sunderland have a far stronger starting eleven and we were the better team so that's pleasing. We maintain our 13th position in the league and extend our unbeaten run to seven games.
Bit of a surprise win here, as Luton had been out of form lately, and Wolves are a strong side.
However, Luton turned up and limited Wolves to very few chances and took one of their own, with Darwin Nunez finding the net in the second half. Zielinski had a good game before his prize of being sold off to the free list.
The win moves Luton back to up to just outside the playoff places, the important bit now is how they can spend their money to improve the side though. Priorities appear to be midfield and in goal.
