In a massive match at the Den a Romain Esse 2nd minute goal was enough to give the Lions a huge three points and leapfrog Bristol City with our third win on the bounce pushing us up to 3rd place in the Championship.
Thankfully Ivan Toney has played his last game for the Club as he yet again failed to score despite having seven shots. Two Goals in 57 shots is dogshit and hopefully Gakpo will add more of a goal threat.
Some of the gangs of FFO might say this was Biblical result.
To beat Hamza twice in 1 day is a special feeling. We came into this one looking for our first win at Brentford and within 4 minutes we were behind.
We went after the goal that would bring us level while a Hamza led Ipswich town stuck with P (What a surprise)
We pulled level within the first 10 minutes of the second half and the game looked to be heading towards a 1-1 draw up until the 95th minute when we won and scored a penalty which keeps Ipswich bottom of the league and pushes us up the table a little bit.
Statistically we were second best but we'll take the 3 points, good game Hamza.
Terrible game for any onlookers. Real bore fest but thankfully for us we managed to nick another important three points. Patrik Vydra popped up with his first goal for the club and the win sees us move up 13th in the league and keep up our winning streak. It doesn't matter how they come along, as long we get the points, that's all that matters.
Played Frank.
