The tractor boys suffered total humiliation at Portman Road tonight as the Lions from South London run rampant. With tactical advantage from the start Mason Mount gave the Lions a 3rd minute one nil lead.
Whether or not the clashes on social media had an effect on the Ipswich Town manager they opened up to attacking with four at the back and Millwall went to work as they smashed the fanny out of the Tractor boys racing into a 4-0 lead inside the first forty minutes. Aidomo Emakhu made it 2-0 on 23 minutes with Mason Mount getting his second and Millwall's 3rd a minute later. Aidomo Emakhu rammed the final nail in the Ipswich Town coffin with is 2nd and Millwall's 4th on 40 minutes.
It was very disappointing that Millwall conceded a goal despite our domination and Dagasan went off injured in the 92nd minute and misses the next game.
This heavy defeat saw the Ipswich Town manager resign with his side bottom of the League and the Tractor Boys faithful and Board will be very hopeful the next manager can get a tune out of a very strong Championship side.
A decent point against a well drilled team, however we come away feeling we should have taken all 3 points.
We wanted to play positive football and our P tactic took TA vs the N tactic from the visitors and inside 16 minute we'd taken the lead. At this point both teams changed tactics and it was our C vs their P and we retained TA but just 4 minutes after taking the lead Norwich pegged us back.
Both teams played P for the rest of the game and despite being the better team we couldn't find a way through and we earn a point.
Statistically we were the better team but our luck wasn't with us today. Good game John.
Well that was ermm rubbish! Stats wise it looked reasonably close, but Bournemouth were very clinical early on, rushing into a three goal lead in 22 minutes. Zielinski got one back late on, the the comeback never really looked on despite the away side pushing forward nearer the end. gg dude.
Luton are looking to do more transfer business to improve the squad, but maybe all these changes aren't helping the team.
Positives - Florentino had a steady debut, and Soares made quite a few saves
Downsides - Poor result, Adebayo sending off, wayward shooting.
A completely unexpected result but a great one at that for us. Against a good Forest side we more than held our own and to be honest should have scored more but were fairly wasteful in front of goal. Thankfully we put more in the back of net than them and return to Birmingham with an important three points on the board. Up to 14th in the league and undefeated in four games.
