Juventus 5 - 2 Rangers

A tough game against a Rangers team who A) are flying at the minute and B) who we tend to struggle against.

I was torn between P & A but I had a feeling we’d be facing C so I went with the more cautious route of P, with us still giving up TA.

Joao_Felix notched his 10th of the season just 8 minutes in and we were off to the races, only to find ourselves down to 10 men shortly after as N_Gonzalez picked up two yellow cards in a matter of 6 minutes and was shown a red card on 14 minutes.

I feared this is what Rangers needed to get back into the game but just 4 minutes later we doubled our lead through a diving header from F_Wirtz.
We switched to A and our visitors switched to E giving us TA and 3 minutes later it was over. 3-0 and shortly after 4-0 as S_Gimenez & Nuno_Mendes got in on the act.

4-0 heading into the break and it seemed like it was Rangers who were down to 10 men, not us but they started to fight back after the break and made it 4-1 shortly after the restart.
We continued to be the better team, controlling the game but Rangers added a second with 10 minutes later to play we we scored the final goal of the game, sealing all 3 points through a superb strike from E_Camavinga on 87 minutes and we ran out 5-2 winners.

Statistically we were the better team, perhaps not by 3 goals but finally we find our shooting boots. This is the kind of performance we need more of at Juventus.

Sevilla 0-5 Real Madrid

Did have a few nerves going into this game because Seville have upset some good teams so far this season. After a slow start though and once the first goal went in we started to flow. Another brace for Rodrygo, the same for his strike partner Doku and Locatelli chipping in with one made it comfortable. Our next two games see us up against high flying Juventus in League and CL, that's going to be interesting.

Fiorentina 2-2 PSG

'Dirty PSG nearly pay the price'
It what was seen as a bonus point, PSG gave Fiorentina a huge helping hand with the sending's off of Arnold and Rice, perhaps both still gutted from England's Euro exit.
The game started as predicted with C V P or A from PSG, and it was only 11 v 9 men that made the match an even game, such is the strength of the PSG side. Fiorentina scored first through the unsettled Diaz, and it looked like being an embarrassing result when PSG scored twice to lead. However up stepped defender Sule with the last minute goal to win the deserved point.

Positives - A point! Palacios has his best game to date, taking man of the match, Diaz hits his 11th
Downsides - Not making full advantage of the extra men, booking for Diaz
