    Burnley 2 Millwall 4

Don’t worry you are not reading that wrong some how my little side went to Premier League giants Burnley and went 3-0 up. I then shit my pants as Burnley got it back to 3-2 but up popped Aidomo Emakhu to get is 2nd of the game in the closing moments to give us a huge scalp our first ever Premier League scalp to get to the Quarter Finals for the first ever time.

we now have a 1 in 8 chance of drawing those Chelsea relegation candidates and getting Steve T’s arsehole twitching.

Another £2.5m gate receipts and minimum prize money so I am well chuffed

Best result in our short history let’s fucking have it COYL

      Blackburn Rovers 0-2 MANCHESTER UNITED

Job done, an even cup tie, both teams playing cautious counter set ups initially, after 30 minutes we changed tactic and that edged us ahead on half time. We Got cautious again second half but managed to sneak a second goal to end the game. We did OK, we know cup footballs a back and forth tight game usually and we expected the caution from Rovers so rather than go gung-ho, played it safe and finally managed to keep a clean sheet. Like I say, job done and into the last 8.

        Liverpool 2 Arsenal 0

The two sides set up similarly both formation wise and tactically and as is so often the case in these tight cagey affairs the first goal is extremely important. Fortunately for us we got it on the half hour mark as Rashford snapped his goal drought. This led to Arsenal changing things and it pretty much played into our hands and by the final whistle we had added a 2nd through Mudryk and looked good value for the 2-0 score line.

Our day today but Darren and his troops will have an immediate opportunity to exact revenge when we play again in the league on Friday night. Again I would expect another cagey affair and no doubt a bit of a coin toss to see who will come out on top.

Delighted to progress into the quarters though as realistically this is probably our best chance of winning something this season.

Unlucky Darren mate, see you again tomorrow.

          Chelsea 3 - 0 Barnsley

Chelsea are back to full strength for the moment and are thinking on their feet tactically. The Spice Boys caught Barnsley napping opting for a Passing style of play as the old rock, paper, scissors thought process worked out for once. Goals from KDB, Odegaard and ASM sealed the win which was well deserved following a 26 - 10 shot count. Credit to Barnsley though because they are always doing far better than they should, but tonight was just our night. Into the quarter finals we go, plenty of good teams still in the competition though, and also theres Milwall.

Post game in the presser Talbot announced that the Champagne Charlie's had signed Brazilian footballer Roberto Firmino from AS Roma in a straight swap for Chiesa, with the switch set to go through following Round 10's games. Talbot knows the player well from when he used to manage him at Madrid (Known as The Ox back then before a player rename) and SKT seemed to be delighted to tell us all about the capture which he says beyond a shadow of a doubt, improves the Chelsea forward line. Firminio will all being well, make his debut for the Blues away to Lecieser City in round 11 of the Prem.

            Blackburn Rovers 0-2 Man Utd

We showed our opponments the respect their team deserves, but probably a little to much as we allowed them to comfortably win the game. It was far from our best performance but we attempted to keep it tight and hopefully get a goal to sneak the tie but it wasn't to be.

            Well done Steve@ManUtd

              Liverpool 2 - 0 Arsenal

The first of double header for Arsenal as they face Liverpool twice away from home in just two days with the first game coming in the FA Cup. One of the harder draws for the Gunners that they could have got and with a bit of stuttering form, it was Liverpool who won with no complaints coming from the North London side as the stats do back up a deserved win for the red side of Merseyside.

              The Gunners boss spoke after the game ;

" With near ten games in the league played, a couple in the Champions League and now a round three exit in the FA Cup, something isn't clicking for us. We take nothing away from Livi and his sides win today, they were better than us and we yet again couldn't get going. We set up to try and make it hard for them to break us down but it was disappointing to see just how easy they made it look against us when normally we are better than how we played but we cant cry over spilt milk and all that, we lost against the better side today and now rule a possible cup off the season for us so very disappointed today ".

Well played Liv, best of luck in the next round mate.
