Real Madrid 3-1 Lazio

A game that on paper we should easily win but it's never that straight forward when the opposition maximises their options for a defensive line up. At the end of the day we still got a positive result so pleased with that. It's still very early days and while one title chasing manager already plays down his chances we won't be fooled by this talk.

PSG 0 - Juventus 1

Cannot remember the last time i had back to back home defeats. Things not great at PSG at the moment, and changes may be needed. I naively thought that with mbappe in the ranks, a 523A would blow most teams away, but that clearly isnt so, with the C tactic still proving to be too stubborn to overcome.I was trying to avoid the unreliable E tactic, but its looking like the giant monkey may need to return. In this game, the first goal went against us, and they shut up shop with a D. I would still have expected 70 minutes of P/A to have produced more than the shot count that we got. But it is what it is. We won 2 important games against our opponents last season, so i guess they were bound to beat us at some point.
Next up is another tough game at a strong Fiorentina, where we could find ourselves 9 points behind the leaders after 10 games

PSG 0 - 1 Juventus

A big win away from home against the juggernaut that is PSG. A team that put us out of both cup competitions last season so we knew what they could do even when we played cautiously so luck and the first goal would be huge here.

I’m sure Ed saw the 7 man defence and C coming a mile off but trusted in his squad giving us TA with the hosts switching between P & A but on 21 minutes Joao_Felix ripped up the script as he put us into the lead.

We instantly tried to defend what we had by switching to D. Some may see this as a cowardly tactic but it’s a valid tactic which, if it helps Juventus earn results, then we’ll use it.

The plan by using D was to stifle the attacking power of PSG and if you want to survive against them you have to stop them creating chances and that’s what we did here eventually seeing out a 1-0 win at our former home (Parc des Princes)

Statistically we were second best but got the vital goal and saw it out. Good game Ed

Fiorentina 0-1 Monaco

Poor performance and result for the purple ones.
It started ok, trying the E against the expected C, however they scored first and we switched things up and lost TA.
It was a game we thought we should get something from, so disappointing, but deserved for Monaco, gg dude.
Only PSG next, oh dear.

Positives - De Vrij had a good game at the back, Marmardvili saved a few
Negatives - Poor result, injury to Telles
