      Liverpool 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED

We played the GOAT for the first time as Liverpool manager and he gave us more of a game than we've had against Liverpool in a long, long time. We really are struggling against teams though which play with a back 5 and again, we conceded first and levelled from the spot in the second half. We struggled to create much and we actually have to thank Oblak for making a whole host of saves given his poor start to the season. We'll take it, this wasn't a great day for us away from home. It is concerning that we have teh calibre of players we have and something isn't clicking for us really right now. I have no doubt it will, but that formula needs to be found quick.

        Chelsea 2 -3 Arsenal

The first big London derby under my reign ends in disapointment. Right when the whistle blew I asked where can we report a robbery, as 2-1 up on 74 minutes we ended up 2-3 losers despite winning the shot count 24-9, 70% possession and 7 corners to 1. Throughout the game we had mostly had the tactical advantage, and when our oppnents changed tactic we immediately switched to regain the advantage. So an annoying loss, as you do everything your supposed to, but you still lose. Just one of them games that you have to chalk off. To be honest though Arsenal are a quality team and manager so having so much of the stats was a bit of a fluke anyway. GG Darren,

I've always found Steve a tough opponent and one of the very best managers out there so I was looking forward to going up against him once again.

We persisted with the passing approach and it was another good performance by us but once again we come away without the 3 points after Onana conceded a 2nd half penalty. Several times now we have been worthy of the win but failed to achieve it. No point in moaning about it we have to soldier on and hope that we can start turning these dominant performances into 3 points.

A short trip across Stanley Park for us next to face the blue side of the city. Everton have improved after a sticky start so it's going to be another challenging fixture for us.

            Chelsea 2 - 3 Arsenal

The first London derby against Steve and his new side since his move from Madrid and we get one over on the blue side of London. Result wise very pleased to pick ll three points up away from home, at a tough place and side to face and it being a London derby but performance wise we could and should have been so much better than we were.

The game has a habit of dropping some strange games and I feel this was one, our goal was peppered from start to finish but a strong performance from Owusu Oduro between the sticks was a key reason for us holding out for the win. We took some criticism for making the change in goal pre season but hes been one of our best players so far.

All in all, we were very poor and the stats do suggest nothing should have been the outcome other than a win for Steve so I do feel his frustration but it was a massive win for us in a massive game for both clubs.

Played mate. Best of luck for the season mate....see you at The Emirattes.
