The TA ebbed and flowed in this match, but we had the advantage the most I'd say and usually a 28 shot performance away from home would warrant a win (20-28). However, we lost ASM to an injury on 40 minutes and this perhaps cost us the full three points as with 2 strikers on the pitch surely we convert more chances. ASM will now miss 2 games including the tough away trip to PSG who shockingly lost at home to Sevilla, so it can be done there is hope. JB will be happy though as Right Said Fred got onto the pitch and made 6 key passes to see him almost hit his loan ab requirements already - Talbot knows what he is doing when it comes to squad management - see, it was never in doubt!
West ham threw everything at us but thankfully we had a more resilient defence today, having experienced a bad bit of form, we opted to bring back in Phillips and Valverde as a middle duo, which in the end proved the right calls, as the two bagged the goals we needed today. It was a better display and we utilised the counter game plan better than previously. It's an overdue result for sure, we've not had the rub recently so this is a vital to get back to winning ways and now we need a big run to get back on track.
We need more output from the front men, they've started very slow but they will kick in, once they start that'll help us more at the top end.
fantastic result and a fantastic performance. This was just what I was hoping for. We did expect the C, we did feel like we’d have too much with the power of our P and home advantage and so it proved. So far so good for us, just one blip, but we need to keep this up in all competitions and see where it takes us. If we continue with the way we have started this season, we will go far.
played Si.

Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
Another great win for us, we’ll take the good luck whilst it’s with us - far more clinical here and Bailey keeps on scoring, probably deserved the win but good game Tony cheers
A very poor result for us this at a time when we could have done with a result, the game comes round to give you good swift kick in the gonads. We have to be going into games like these and getting something from them, especially with their poor form that they have been on but we really cant have any arguments with the result as The Saints got what they deserved and we did too.
The season has been mixed so far and we just cannot get into full swing. Something isnt clicking for us and I think that a couple of changes could be needed to enable us to play they way we wanted to at the start of the season. A performance and result to forget for us, we move on.
It wasn't pretty by any stretch of the imagination nor was it convincing but we managed to grind out a result which was the absolute priority given we went into the game in the bottom three.
Barnsley were without their best striker so I thought they would struggle to score and they set up with a tough to break down 541C set up and made life very difficult for us. Stats were pretty even but for once we just managed to get over the line.
A disappointing result at home in a game where i think we did enough to at least earn a draw but were simply put to the sword by the more clinical spurs. We were at home with
TA so should be taking advantage of these situations, we have turn things around and quickly before we find ourselves in a relegation battle.
Well done Tim, Hope that horseshoe up your ass isn't hurting too much haha
Cardiff City faced a challenging match against Crystal Palace at the Cardiff City Stadium, ending in a 1-2 defeat. Manager Matt Rose's team showed resilience, equalising in the 23rd minute through D_Zapata after conceding an early goal to D_Dike in the 11th minute. Despite a solid defensive effort, Cardiff struggled to contain Crystal Palace's A_Traore, who scored the decisive goal in the 56th minute.
Cardiff had several key moments, with notable performances from D_Zapata and M_Gotze, but couldn't convert enough chances. Tactical changes by Rose, including the introduction of D_Rico, M_Brozovic, and J_Brekalo, aimed to shift momentum but fell short against a well-organised Palace defence. Rose acknowledged the need for improved discipline, as Cardiff accumulated three yellow cards. Despite the loss, Rose remains optimistic, focusing on refining strategies and building on the team's promising aspects for upcoming fixtures.
