    MANCHESTER UNITED 2-1 Middlesborough

We made very hard work of this in the end, given Boro are a league bellow us people thought this should be a straight forward tie but a bit of naivety hit us combined with a bit of bad luck with 2 goals disallowed in the first half. I even had to watch 95 minutes for the stands!

Between those, we did get the opener but we allowed Boro to level the tie then it felt like a long old game even after we scored, it felt like a wasteful day and despite the attacking dominance I didn't feel we'd score more as the clock ran down.

It's cup football, we're in the hat for the next round which is always the main thing, but we should've been more clinical and still work to do. Once some of the lads rate up hopefully we can kick on a bit!

      Millwall 2 Bradford City 0

Goals from Aidomo Emakhu in the 22nd minute and Kyle Walker in the 61st minute see us dispose of League 1 Bradford City to progress to the 3rd round for the 2nd season running. With Bradford City playing Long Ball it was as exciting as watching NoseGate's England but like England we found enough to win the game and be in the hat for the 3rd round and another £2.5m in gate money.

We prophesied that we will get Chelsea in round 3 before the season started lets see if it happens. If it does lets hope we are drawn as the home team to maximise our chances of giving the Champagne Charlies a bloody nose.

what an absolute farce from our opposition, 3 at the back with no dm’s. Just ab grabbing

62 shots and we only scored 5 also a shambles

          Coventry City 0 - 2 Chelsea

A relatively comfortable win over Coventry on the road to progress into the third round, with goals from Odegaard and Lamptey. We showed the world another side to us tonight, we can play another formation. We are not one trick ponies and into the hat we go. We expect a few teams will be wanting to draw us to leverage the social media clout that we obviously bring. A couple have already called us out, of course. Just having their club name alongside ours on the marquee will be such a boost to the brand of those kind of teams, so I can't blame them for wanting to hold onto Champagne Chelsea's coat-tails. Bring it on!

            Arsenal 6 - 1 Bolton Wanderers

Round two in this seasons FA Cup saw Arsenal on the better side of the draw, avoiding some of the bigger sides in their quest to progress to round three and with League Two Bolton Wandrers also looking to progress, The Gunners couldn't afford to take any chances and fielded a strong side which in turn secured a solid 6-1 for their efforts.

Still without Timo Werner, it was up to Asprilla to step up and lead the line and he didn't let his side down, getting another goal along with strikes from Kubo, Morrison, Raum and a double from Pino to book their name in the third round draw.

            The Arsenal boss spoke after the game ;

" Ok we maybe got one of the easier games from the draw but we still had a job to do in order to avoid a potential banana skin and exit from the cup but the players really played well today and a big win sees our name in the draw for round three. We dominated the game from start to finish which allowed us to give a decent part of the game to Houben along with some other squad players so all in all a very good day in the office ".

              LEICESTER CITY 0-4 Leeds United

              Oh dear!
Well and truly beaten in this one and deservedly so. In retrospect I probably played too cautiously and the change in formation didn't really have the desired effect.
The visitors started well right form the start and it was a sign of things to come as we struggled to get ourselves into the game. Possession stats of 72-28 in their favour and they also had more than double the amount shots on goal (31 to 14).
It was all over by half time as all 4 of their goals came in the first half. Their first came in the 12th minute when V_Osimhen latched onto a cross and his header took a deflection leaving Areola with no chance.
N_Fekir then took the game by the scruff of the neck, scoring his first with an lob over the keeper in the 23rd minute and then scoring with an overhead kick seamingly from his own flick on!!
Leeds wrapped up the scoring late in first half added time when Amrabat's low drive went in off the post.
We rallied slightly in the second half but the damage was already done and we never really came close to scoring.

                Liverpool 3 Spurs 2

Sheeted for this but then been away on holiday.

Entertaining game in which we trailed 1-0 and 2-1 before a switch to attacking later on saw us turn things around against a Spurs side that have started the season better than us. Young Halifa scoring the winner before then getting sent off but I think we just about deserved the win.

Arsenal in the next round which will be super tough, especially given how poor our form is.
