Its really frustrating when you concede a penalty on the first minute of the game and that dictates the rest of the game with tactic changes. From then onwards it was just back and forth C v C which isn’t the most interesting, but it is what it is and Lens walk away with the 3 points. We didn’t create any clear cut chances.

Battered by a team who are again clearly ahead of us, they came down from EFL 1 last season but they're a club. On the game we gambled our set up and yes it was a schoolboy error, we can't complain at all with the outcome and its a day of no positives. We got picked apart and this one does highlight work needs to be done simply, we can't carry on with some of the squad we have, we need enforcements to try and replicate last season. We'll have good and bad games but I'd rather nip the bad ones now than let things get worse.

Len's tactics are proving to work really well when ahead and not so well when behind. Got really lucky to get a PK in the first minute. That's two matches in a row that a PK was given in the first minute, fortunately this time it was for us. Despite not finishing more chances the match played out like we had hoped. We had a 59% to 41% edge in possession and 7 to 3 in shots on target. Buchmann once again showed his quality and why management has shown faith in the 17 year old. Man of the match for the second time this season.
