Fulham 2-0 Brum

We set up against the D of the home side who had a much stronger starting eleven with A and we were arguably the better side throughout the game. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be and we didn’t get on the scoresheet.
Some positives to take are some player uprates which put us in a stronger next season especially with the preseason youth rerates .

LEICESTER CITY 2-1 Ipswich Town

So we go up as champions!
Not bad for my first season back in FFO.

This match was a tightly contested affair with both teams creating chances and both keepers in good form.
Ipswich scored first when a Burns shot came back off the post, hit Areola in the Leicester goal and fell back to Burns who had an easy tap in.
Both teams had minor chances before Man Of The Match Dunk played a precise through ball for Sotoca to beat Patterson with an early shot.
Dunk scored what turned out to be the winner early in the second half after Nakajima took advantage of an Ipswich mistake and played him in.
Both teams were guilty of poor finishing and that combined with some decent goalkeeping meant that there was no addition to the scoreline.
