    Real Madrid 2 - 1 Juventus

The Galaticos sneak a win over Juve with the winner coming from long term target of the old lady, Doku. Unlike the last home game in R34 were we missed a penalty verses Milan, some of the random luck went our way this time as we equalised thanks to an own goal - but it was Doku who took the headlines with a winner that could very well seal the title for Madrid with results elsewhere.

Both PSG and Roma, who to be fair was already out of it really, lost - which means Madrid are 6 points clear with 2 to go and a +17 GD over PSG. That will be tough for PSG to overcome. It is still a possability though, especially if Talbot chooses to rest players with the CL final in mind. There will be no partys in Madrid tonight, not until the fat lady sings anyway. GG AB I expect Juve will put down a real challenge towards the top 3 next season.

      Rom 0 1 AC

      I'll be honest.

It's hard motivating players who are grieving the loss of their talisman manager.

They were holding it together. But then they discovered the identity of their new boss.

A shameful capitulation to JHop is the result.

gg. Jason - good luck with your rebuilding project

        Real Madrid 2 - 1 Juventus

Another game where we're happy to play open football against one of the best in the business. We played P and they came to attack with A (The exact set up that PSG played vs us, cute) We thought we'd taken the lead in the first minute but the ball wasn't judged to have crossed the line.

We did manage to take the lead after 17 minutes but 6 minutes before the break we scored another own goal to let Real Madrid into the game.

Into the second half and, as Steve said, long time Juventus target J_Doku put the league leaders ahead as the hosts switched up to a more conservative C tactic for the rest of the game.

Statistically it was a fairly even game with the hosts edging it, so not many complaints there....OTHER than the GK abs, my GK made 7 saves and had 2 scored past him and made -9 abs....The Real Madrid GK made 5 saves and had 1 goal scored past him and earned 5 abs. Stupid in my opinion but I'm sure there is an explanation for it.

Good game Steve, that's the title all but sealed for you. Congratulations

          Roma 0-1 AC Milan

In our last ever battle it seemed only fitting that I should win. It took Derek a good 6 or 7 games to finally beat me when we both joined ffo, so to be that thorn in his side once again is a great finale.

The game itself was mixed, we survived the initial onslaught from Roma, then they switched up tactics to put them in our favour and we took the lead. One red card later and the game very much felt like we were going to extend our lead rather than see Roma equalise.

Good game derek, it’s been a pleasure competing over the years

            Monaco 0 Atletico Madrid 1

The last away game of the season would see Atletico travel to the variance that is Monaco. Monaco with fringe players needing minutes chose to field a couple of weaker players which meant they were restricted to just 3 shots. Atletico could not create as much as they would have liked but did enough to get the one goal that win them the game through Dimarco.

With results going pretty well elsewhere their could yet be a decent finishing position for Atletico but they will finish somewhere between 05th and 11th.

            05 Juve 57
            06 Barca 57
            07 Inter 54
            08 Atletico 54
            09 Lisbon 54
            10 Celtic 52
            11 Lazio 51

Manager Simon Marsh commented "Another close fought victory keeps us in the hunt and if we can win our last 2 home games we will get Champions League and put some pressure on those above".

            Good game Bucky
