    MANCHESTER UNITED 2-1 Newcastle United

    Made very, very hard work of this one and again, we had to score late on to get the three points. Newcastle mix up their approach and to be honest I thought once we saw the set ups we had a very good chance. Now, we conceded in 4 minutes, after that we ran the game and simply just didn't score enough, we did score 34 minutes in and then nicked it with 10 to go to keep clinging on to City. We deserved more today in terms of goals, but we take the points, 2 goals for Adeyemi, with both strikers needing 4 and 5 goals each to make the 30 goal target set that looks out of reach unfortunately.

    Before the game it was simple, just keep getting wins and we'll have a chance, but City smashed West Ham 6-2, so any slight chance of clawing goals back has gone. So unless they drop points we literally have ZERO chance of winning the league, but we have two more games and will certainly aim for 6 points

      Brighton 2-3 Aston Villa

      The opposition managerless so you are never sure what tactics you will face. We decided to be bold and of course the home side went counter attack.Brighton went two goals up but we held our nerve and turned it around thanks to a hat trick from Julian Alvarez in what ended up a very close game statistically.

        Tottenham Hotspur 1 - 2 Arsenal

        One of the biggest games in the season or both Spurs and Arsenal, the North London derby was next in round thirty six and going into the game on the back of two nil nil draws, Spurs were looking to take the bragging rights from this but Arsenal got back to their best with the win over their rivals.

        Goals from Schlotrbeck and Captain Chiesa turned the game around after Arsenal went one down and a solid display at the back ensured that it was to be Arsenals day in North London. With West Ham dropping points at Man City, the win sees Arsenal move back into third place and three points clear of West Ham in fourth.

        A happy Gunners boss had this to say ;

        " A massive game in our season and to get the win in their own back yard is just the tonic for us after two poor results. Just a few games left and our aim is third place which we have managed to get ourselves in a great position for so its in our hands now and we cant allow any slip ups ".
