    MANCHESTER UNITED 2-0 Wolves

    2 penalties saw us lead before the break. We certainly deserved the lead. After that the effects of a lazy sheet once again made the game unreadable.

    We got 3 points, cemented 2nd place at worst but still clinging onto City.

      Aston Villa 5-4 Leeds United

      A nine goal thriller played out at Villa Park with both teams searching for a positive result. Leeds got off to an absolute flyer after going two goals up in the first six minutes. By the twenty minute mark the game was back level and from that point we kept nudging a single goal ahead only for the opposition to level the game back up again. The final goal that put us ahead was with just ten minutes left on the clock to give us a thrilling and deserved winner as on this occasion Leeds were unable to reply.

        Arsenal 0 - 0 Southampton

        Back at The Emirates and looking to get not only back onto the winning trail but to get back in on the goals but it was the same exact result as the previous round with yet another nil nil draw this time against Southampton.

        Absolutely no doubt about it, Arsenal will look back on the game as two points dropped, they were by far the better of the two sides but a stubborn back six for The Saints kept The Gunners out for the second game in a row. How much this result will affect the clubs position come the end of the season remains to be seen as the Gunners boss said afterwards ;

        " We did everything apart from score today. One of those games where we could still be playing now. Facing a back six in theory is what we did and we have managed to break them don before, we certainly have the players to do so but today it wasn't to be once again and following the Blackburn game, two points and no goals is something that does cause or concern, specially going in to the North London derby in the next round ".
