    SHAKHTAR DONETSK 2-1 Villarreal

Big, big win and we left it late!

Both teams set up with caution and we struck early from the on I felt the game was close and even but a lapse in concentration awarded them a penalty which was converted. As time was ticking on it seemed we ran out of ideas but of a dry patch we then nicked it with 5 minutes left. When I saw the stats we did edge the game even though I though otherwise, but this is a good enough result for us. We stay where we are, still chasing the top half no matter how tough its looking.

We've hit 7 points from the 10 targeted for the run in, one more win would be fantastic, we play 2 teams in the top 6 and 2 teams chasing behind us. We know it's a big ask but I don't see why we can't do it!

      Feyenoord 1 - 1 RB Salzburg

DeKuip was privy to a hard fought match between visiting RB Salzburg and Feyenoord, that much to the dismay of the home supporters, ended in a one all draw. The first goal arrived midway in the first when tub-boy striker O_Idrissi took advantage of a bad pass from O_Solet and never looked back. The visitors answered back shortly after in the 31st, A_Dedic with a Pele-esque style overhead kick right into the net, bringing the house to a standstill; as one fan said “you could hear a pin drop”.

Pundits were quick to react after the one all draw stating that the tub-boys have become complacent, four draws in their last six matches. Talk has it that manager Bucks pre-match pep talks are becoming more like bed time stories. No mention as to who leaked the tidbit.

In other news, Fiorentina keep winning and have distanced themselves evermore form the pack, heading for league championship and promotion. Some say it’s still too early to predict, but the experts have voiced their opinions.

        Feyenoord 1 - 1 RB Salzburg

After problems keeping possession and being out shot, RBS Salzburg did well to leave Feyenoord with a 1 - 1 draw. Salzburg is still treading water in the deep end of the table while the mid-table is sailing away. Supporters gave grudging respect for the performance and it is thought that Thacker may be able to persuade the board for another season.

Two more players have met their minutes and will could be back next season. According to club insiders, there is only one player that has not met their time.

          Fiorentina 7-0 PSV

Wowsers, the goals are certainly flying in at the moment, after the six in the last game.
I feel a bit sorry for my old side, actually nah, I don't!
I think we benefitted from the away side playing A, which I guess might have been a random.
Defender Cresswell got two goals in two minutes in the first half, and then the floodgates opened.
The other goals were spread out, with goal machine Suso getting another two, the only surprise was no goal for Nunez, even 11 rated sub Lualua got a goal!
Stats wise is was as one sided as the scoreline suggests, with the shot count being 40 v 9

Positives - Plenty of goals and abs, passing uprate for Cresswell, the last 11 rater got his minutes, results go our way
          Downsides - Umm, we didn't get 8

I am not going to mention the table or the P word, to avoid the curse of the ESMS gods
