    AC Milan 2-0 Real Sociedad

With Juventus closing in on us, we needed to respond quickly to our loss at PSG. A good game against Real Sociedad has helped widen that gap, not the most exciting game but what felt like a comfortable 3 points.

Two defenders got on the score line and ter Stegen had a limited amount to do in goal. Only 8 points behind Roma, is it possible?

good game Kev and good luck for the run in

      Juventus 2 - 3 Bayer Leverkusen

Another absolutely shocking result for us as our struggles against the lower teams continues

Bayer beat us 4-2 at their place earlier in the season and they’ve done us again at our place.

We expected C and gave up TA willingly and within 9 minutes we were 2-0 to the good and on the hunt for more goals by switching to A.

We dominated the rest of the half and went in at half time 2-0 up.

The second half carried on as the first ended with us being in complete control but something happened in the 68th minute when Leverkusen pulled a goal back.
Leverkusen then went on the hunt for a goal to level the game by switching to A vs our now P tactic and on 80 minutes they found that goal.

With the tie at 2-2, the tactics P vs C, it was in the balance and we’d thrown two points away but then with 3 minutes to go the comeback was complete as Leverkusen notched their third of the game to take all 3 points back to Germany.

Statistically we dominated the game, with our visitors scoring 3 goals from 4 on target.
Which is an absolute joke. Good game Chris

        Atletico Madrid 0 Rangers 1

Just when 7 points from 9 threatened to get Atletico back into the champions league a shocking defeat at home to Rangers takes them to DPT. The Champions League positions have been like an allergy to Atletico. No sooner do they get into them, they get themselves out of them. This game was a tale of 2 issues. A shot count of 23-6 should have seen the home side win by 2-3 goals. However, the shot count may have been higher had manager Simon Marsh put one of those poxy teamsheets in where players swap positions every minute for a third of the game. No evidence is known that these teamsheets effect games but there seems to be much action but the swapping of players.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "What a pile of tosh. 23 shots and only 6 on target. Rangers managed to got 5 on target from 6. Thats the sort of luck we have had the majority of the season - bad! Loads of injuries, loads of points lost and then I cant even send a decent teamsheet in after a long time studying. Roll on the end of the season!"

          Roma 2 2 Real Madrid

A game of few chances but plenty of goals.

I thought we might sneak the win when we went 2-1 up and Madrid lost a man. But the FFO favour has deserted us this season and Madrid equalised in the 75 minute.

I've enjoyed my tussles with Steve on the pitch and in our many transfer dealings.

          gg Steve

Maybe you paid for your 7 defender D tactics?

          Roma 2 - 2 Real Madrid

This wasn't the "banger" of a game that most people had it marked down for in perhaps the last ever Hughes vs Talbot encounter. But it was a very intriguing and tactical game none the less. Madrid mostly out thought the Pound Shop Galaticos from start to finish with the tactics, but Roma looked set to steal the game when Madrid had Varane harshly sent off and they took the lead. Roma as expected, attempted to shut up shop with a big D we have seen before all too well. With 10 men trying to combat this, the odds looked slim. However, this Madrid team this season is fighting out from underneath and we grabbed a deserved equalizer with Dest getting a most important goal on 75 minutes.

A draw was a decent result here, especially as we had Doku out for this one and with PSG only drawing at Lisbon it was made an even better, priceless point. Madrid will have to battle against the odds though towards the end of the season as injury and suspensions are seemingly trying to conspire against team at all times. But hey, it's nothing we haven't seen before.

GG Derek. I agree the ding dong games and deals have been memorable, and I do hope you stay in the game. Maybe try and spice up that Prem a bit?
