Countered right throughout the game again but we did hold our own and arguably deserved three points out of the game. The Blades scored first thirteen minutes in and and we levelled just before half time. A few more shots at goal from us but the opposition had a much higher percentage of their fewer shots actually on target which could have been the difference so maybe the draw was a fair result in the end.
Last time out I asked for us to score more goals, a more clinical approach and we got that today, but looks like Rovers had the same idea. It was a bit carnage really and a game hard to assess. I don't think the game had 10 goals written on it, but sometimes the goalkeepers don't perform whilst the front men bring their best and that's the best of what I can say on this.
But 6 games left, again all we ca do is keep trying to pick the wins, we have some tricky games on the home sprint, and can only hope City drop points whilst we collect them.
We set our front 2 a challenge of 30 goals each this season and they're getting closer. If the do achieve it it'll be a good effort from the two, but Adeyemi may have left it late having a few barren spells.
Next up for Arsenal was a trip from North to East London to face one of the form teams this season, West Ham. With both teams neck and neck in the table, this was a massive game for both. A win for Arsenal would see them move above West Ham but a win for the Hammers would see a bit of breathing space for Todd Fortunes side.
The result, a two all draw will be looked back on for Arsenal as two points dropped for sure, a very good performance that saw them by far the better of the two sides in all areas, goals rom Chiesa and Botman should have secured the win but it wasn't to be and in fact, it was Arsenal who found themselves 2-1 down at one stage of the game.
The Arsenal boss spoke after the game ;
" A really crucial game this or both sides and of course looking back we are frustrated we only took a point away from it but also pleased we didn't lose. West Ham are having a fantastic season, they are usually locked in a battle to stay in the league but they have been consistent all season and will no doubt finish in a good position which thy fully deserve. The point doesn't really help either side and we just have to forget that now and focus on Burnley in the next round ".
