BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
we were battered in this game but thanks to the superman Trafford in goal and 2 goals from wonderkid Dane Scarlett we robbed Brizzle City and left Ashton Gate with 3 points in the swag bag.
this was a huge result for us and brings us within 3 points of Brizzle City in the last playoff spot.
with the 3rd lowest wage bill we are well punching above our weight and it will take many more miracle results like today for us to stand a chance of entering the play off mix
great abs earned across the pitch today
unlucky Tim and best of luck for the rest of the season mate
First game for caretaker manager Simon Marsh. It ended in a disappointing 2-2 draw at home to fellow strugglers Sunderland but it did stop the 5-game losing streak.
Marsh commented "We could probably have hung on for all three points were it not for gaining some players their minutes but Luongo and Gozalbez have made their respective times now and will be retained. We also managed to get Brobbey up to a 17-rated striker. No further injuries and suspensions so we can play a decent team and now only need minutes for K_Anderson and D_Sanderson from the bench over the remaining 11 games of the season".
