Feyenoord 1-1 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

An even game, settled by..... well it wasn't.

The game was pretty nip and tuck and it had draw written all over it. 89th minute Feyenoords sub scored, we're thinking game over but then our sub scored 4 minutes later. I think it would've been harsh for either side to lose so this is a fair result. But it's another one we're happy with, they boast superior quality in their main eleven in particular so a draw away from home is huge for us.

We're 5 points off top 6, 5 off 18th so it shows how close this league is. We'll keep taking what points we can and with minutes slowly being met we're happy with how we've managed this season but we do need work for next season and beyond.

Feyenoord 1 - 1 Shakatar Donesk

Last minute heroics on both sides of the pitch. With only one minute remaining in the match, Feyenoords E_Elmas gave the hosts a short lived taste of victory, using his own rebound off the post, the sub was able to get the ball past keeper J_Butez. However, the halfbacks efforts were short lived, four minutes later O_Kaschuk’s injury time goal gave the visitors the all important one point.

With a day and half til their next match the tub boys did not have much time to contemplate the evenings match. The club was spotted boarding a red eye shorty after the match destined for the sunny shores of Valencia for an afternoon match up.

Ajax 0-0 Fiorentina

Nothing to see here..
It was a fairly even game of not many chances. Both sides lined up with the C to start with, with Fiorentina choosing to match the likely tactics of Ajax rather than risk the away E. However a switch to P before half time was made to try and go for it a bit.
Fiorentina slightly edged the stats, but it was a game where the defenses were on top.
No one excelled, but Helix and Camus had decent games.
So 4 points this week, not too bad considering. We had our best defender out for this one, and await the arrival of auction signing Etikete to hopefully spur things on next week.

We have decided to change our name to Club Futbol Bottle Jobs. In this fixture, we were leading by three goals to nil by the forty-third minute. However, due to a poor defensive display, we lost all three points. Although the match statistics suggest that we deserved to win, we cannot justify losing a three-goal lead in ninety minutes.

We extend our congratulations to Sparta Prague for their amazing comeback. The one point they earned has hit us hard in our pursuit of the playoff places. We will continue to focus on our next game and strive to do better.
