An exciting night of European football for the travelling fans, who had travelled to Spain for the match against the EF1 side.
The away side set up cautiously at first, but a quick fire double from Sociedad threw those plans out the window, and Fiorentina opened up with a more passing game.
Nunez and Jovic showed their skills, by quickly getting the game back to 2-2, and an exciting finish was to come.
Sociedad didn't help themselves by getting Furlong sent off in the second half, and it was Nunez who took advantage to win the match 3-2, and take the man of the match award.
From the stats the scoreline looks about right, but it is only half time in the tie overall, and a one goal lead may not be enough overall.
