    Ajax 1-2 Villarreal
    O_Lingr (43) - Pedraza (27), O_Burke (49)

We've had a great start to our league campaign with back-to-back wins, making it three wins in our last four league games. Pedraza opened the scoring and Lingr equalised for the opposition just before half time. However, Oliver Burke cancelled out the home side's goal shortly after the second half.

The match statistics suggest that a draw would have been a fair result, but we are happy with the win nonetheless and will continue to push forward.

      Lyon 0-0 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

We kept a cleansheet with two defenders missing so there's a positive. But Otherwise we decided to cut some loses and get some minutes in so it was an OK day in that sense. Lyon did have a better game than us and will bemoan the result but we're content today but will look for more going forward.

We're still in the top half of the table but we have to now focus on the squad aspect as much as possible over the coming rounds.

        Fiorentina 3-1 Feyenoord

The tub boys start the second half of the season with a 3-1 loss to Fiorentina at Artemio Franchi Stadium. The hosts opened the scoring in the 7th minute and didn’t look back adding to their lead in the 10th and 42 minutes of the first half. The tub boys got one back in the 49th of the second, but could not mount a comeback against a very strong defensive line. Fun fact The purples suffered the same fate at the start of the season losing 3-1 at De Kuip.

          Fiorentina 3-1 Feyenoord

Good solid performance from the purple ones, still on a high from their midweek European drama perhaps.
We raced into a commanding lead in the first half, against a side also in the hunt for promotion.
It was nice to see Nunez among the goals again, taking his tally to a respectable 10, and Jovic remains in the hunt for the golden boot.
We even had the luxury to bring on a squaddie at half time, who made his minutes and will never be seen again!
Thanks for reminding us we lost the opposite match earlier in the season Travis, I could have used that to motivate the lads gg
