        Frankfurt 3-0 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

Well the good runs over, but we came into the game missing a body or two, then we lose our best defender early doors so it was going to be a long game.

We got well beaten away from home, and we can't complain. We kept trying to probe but on the day we have to say we were not good enough. If we can get a fully fit squad soon we can hopefully have another run of form, but we're missing more players again for the cup so we'll do what we can there and try and get back to winning ways.

          Feyenoord 1 - 1 Sevilla

Tough draw for the hosts as the visitors even the score with 5 minutes remaining. No thanks to D_Blind who’ s laser of a shot was spot on; ruining A_Muric’s shutout. A brilliant match for Sevilla, who scored once on only 2 attempts at net. On the other hand Feyenoord with 5 attempts at net could only get 1 past keeper W_Szczesny who in my eyes was the big man on campus for this afternoons matchup. The lone scorer for Feyenoord was non other than ace striker P_Goncalves.

Buck luckily escaped expulsion after going livid on the sidelines over a questionable call from the referee following a viscous sliding tackle inside the box by T_Partey in the 36th minute; dropping E_Gutierrez like a sack of potatoes. Buck questioned the officiating stating that “nothing less than a penalty shot, how the referee missed the call is beyond me” the gaffer further stated that “the referee must have some sort of grudge, the question is, against who?”.

            Real Betis 1-1 Fiorentina

Another day, another draw for the stuttering purple ones.
We tried to mix it up with some long ball football, only to find the opposition had too! It was a fairly boring first half until Betis broke the deadlock, and Fiorentina switched tactics.
Things improved, and an equaliser was scored by defender Victor, with Dembele playing well.
Based on the stats we could well have won this one with some more clinical finishing from the 10 shots on target, but despite all the attacking talent in the side, it was not to be.
Dembele was a clear man of the match. In terms of the league table we slip down again to fourth, but at least Sevilla didn't get any further ahead at the top.
With nothing happening on the transfer front, it's up to the manager to find a formation and tactics that work.
Next up is Celtic in Europe
