Teamsheets MUST be in by 3pm on Game Day
BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
This was our best display of the season and unfortunately we only managed a narrow scoreline. Even more so we missed another cleansheet by the skin of our teeth, a little disappointed there but 3 points against a team around us which are the games we need to maximise our points from.
But we're 3 wins in a row, and its a good stead run which we'll look to keep moving on with. We can only keep plugging away for points like we are to achieve our goals and keep developing our squad and whilst plugging minutes away but we're very happy with how we're doing so far.
Not a great performance from the lads, in what has been an iffy week. We did ok for possession, but otherwise it was fairly even, except our lads left their shooting boots at home. We had to come from behind twice, including with the last kick of the game, so relieved to even get a point tbh. Decent game dude.
Have been looking to make changes, particularly to formation, but the only changes are Mount coming into midfield to add more firepower, and a loan defender, to maybe give us more options to keep clean sheets.
The visiting club were not very polite this afternoon, with 13 fouls by the end of the match it seems that the yellow submarine, aided by the referee were out to do maim. D_Suarez with a sliding tackle on M_Pederson in the 9th minute, Pedraza in the 54th with a bad challenge on S_Szymanski, A_Mandi in the 66th with a clumsy tackle on D_Hancko, three occasion where the referee refused to lay down the law. It took a horrendous foul by Terrats on P_Goncalves in the 80th to get a reaction from the referee; much to the dismay of the frenzied crowd at DeKuip.
On the other hand, supporters at DeKuip were privy to a spotless match by the home side who amassed four unanswered goals on 26 attempts at net with 11 on target. It was nothing less than a party atmosphere throughout the match, the fans finally having reason to let loose. A much needed change after the horde of horrible outcomes.
