The tub boys are still chasing their first win in the DBC cup. The 5-0 loss to Sheffield last night marks the clubs fourth consecutive defeat in the tournament. From the looks of it, lack of discipline and club disunity are probably the main culprits in the tub boys dismal cup and of late league performance.
However, too early to tell and only speculation at this point, but it has come to our attention from a disclosed source that – for lack of better wording – “a love triangle” is at the forefront of player dissension, not clear yet, but it seems to involve two tub boys and a female, most probably a wife; more to come as it unfolds.
A purple heart is in the works for the bravest of the the bunch, keeper I_Pandur has been the recipient of 23 goals scored against him in the last four cup matches. Most keepers would be shell-shock by this point but not I_Pandur who says that being able to play for his favourite child hood club is the ultimate, a dream come true and that he savours every moment he suits up.
