We went for it from the start and it was a huge risk but in the very last minute we got our full rewards. As the game goes, Ajax edged the stats but I'm very happy with what we put out today against a team who is (like most of the division) better than us. It took a super sub effort from Jansen to nick it in the 90th minute and I'll happily take it. We're off the mark away from home and 2 wins in a row is great for us. Hopefully continue working and adapting the team and we may get a few more wins along the way. But a pleasing day and a big result for us.
The euphoria from Fridays win was short lived as Rennes deal the tub boys their 5th loss of the season. It wasn’t for lack of trying, the visitors fought tooth and nail but fell short. At one point in the match the tub boys were down 4-1 but perseverance almost paid off as Feyenoord were able to add two unanswered goals late in the match to close the gap to one. An impressive contribution in the match by the visitors Q_Timber earns him man of the match.
Back down to earth after last week's win at Sevilla. Not quite sure what our keeper was up to the night before the game, but he will be disciplined! Just one of those games that goes against you. We had the edge on all the stats, but the late switch to A gave them a good advantage for the late goals. Hopefully we can get back to winning ways.
