One of the most spectacular loses in FFO history, surely there are no words to describe it. As the old adage goes, if your gonna lose, lose big. It’s fair to say that the DBC tournament this season is a bust for the tub boys. Depending on the circumstances, Feyenoord will be back next season, better prepared and ready for the task of winning. Positive note, some of the younger players got their much needed match experience in; immensely important for player development.
The tub boys will be looking to bounce back against their crosstown rivals Ajax this coming Friday, a venue that always attracts fans from all over. Not to say that the home supporters have had a great deal to celebrate of late, in fact they’ve had none. But the excitement and anticipation for Fridays meet is reaching fever pitch. Results from past matches don’t stand for much when these two clubs play one another. Wipe the slate clean and expect one hell of a shindig.
