Barcelona 0 Roma 2

Abject performance from us in all honesty. Got suckered into setting up negatively and playing for tactical bonus but even with all that we failed miserably and just couldn't cope with their attacking threat. Roma came with far more intent and got their reward.

Very disappointing display from us. We've shown in the last 7 days with home defeats to Madrid and Roma that we are still some way off the better sides.

Anyway, Milan have already all but clinched the title so who really cares?

Napoli 0-3 AC Milan

This game made me nervous, Napoli beat me in the repeat fixture in our DPT game so we wanted to avoid that scenario again.

Both teams set up similarly and it was a bit of a cagey affair where the only difference was the quality up top. A Dybala double showing why he’s the captain.

Still in dreamland with this league performance so far and getting closer to my target which still remains champions league qualification.

Sociedad 1-2 Lazio

Really frustrating to lose in the last minute after giving a penalty away. I thought we deserved something from the game against a much stronger opponent. We’re still doing well in terms of league position however and know a win in our next game could give us a big boost.

Juventus 5 - 1 Marseille

A big win that's what's been needed for Juventus after a poor run, albeit with some help from Marseille's A tactic which we matched ourselves.

We controlled the game from the off and within 5 minutes we were ahead in the game through a red hot S_Giminez. We continued to dominate the game and 17 minutes later we were 2 ahead and cruising.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men on 44 minutes after M_Hinteregger was shown a second yellow card.

Marseille had hardly had a kick in the first half but we only went in 2 goals to the good, but considering recent weeks we were happy.
We lost striker Joao_Felix to injury in first half stoppage time and he'll miss 2 key games on the horizon which isn't ideal.

Into the second half and we looked to kick on and make the game comfortable and within 3 minutes of the restart we'd done that as we went 3-0 up.

A 4th & 5th came by the 69 minute and Marseille found the net eventually to reduce the deficit to 5-1 but we take all 3 points with ease.

Statistically we battered Marseille, with 49 shots and 30 on target. We FINALLY got some decent abs which saw Gvardiol & Nuno_Mendes rate up in passing alongside Camavinga who now reaches 18 21 rated. Not bad for £125,000,000.

Up next we have a struggling Atletico, who are also missing their top striker. We know that Atletico have a brilliant team and even better manager so this slump in form will only be temporary and someone will be on the end of a battering, I fear that may be us so we'll have to guard against that.

Bloody hell - when we saw Edwards out before the match bricking up the Barca goal - we thought we had no chance here.

Backline of 7 playing C + TA + HA.

The lack of attacking intent from Barca gave Goretzka freedom to run the game from his defensive midfield position. And bored with nothing to do he roamed forward and scored after 5 minutes.

With 20 minutes to go Edwards finally found the courage to have a go at scoring.

But it was too little too late.

PSG 1 - 0 Real Madrid

Round 3 of 5(or 6? or 7?) games. On reflection I think I got my tactics wrong as I was probably too preoccupied by not losing, rather than winning. Our opponent got his tactics spot on and was unfortunate not to get the opening goal, although our counter attack set up is quite strong, having already resulting in our three draws, two of which were goalless. The stats were quite even, although I suspect our superior shooting stats gave us a slight edge, but I wouldn’t have been disappointed to draw the game. Very pleased to keep another clean sheet, and our goalkeeper finally joins the 25 club, and we need to ensure he doesn’t dip below with crucial games against Villa and Roma coming up. Happy to get the 3 games against Real Madrid out of the way, and looking forward to concentrating on performance rather than result. We remain in second place, 4 points behind the leaders, who are on an amazing run. However, I don’t see it continuing and I am content to sit on their shoulder for now.

PSG 1 - 0 Real Madrid

I feel like our game plan was decent, as good as I could have done I'd say. We put in a good showing away from home - but PSG are just a superb well run team and when your not getting much rub of the green as well when you need some to come away from Paris with anything, well things are just not going to go your way. The three defeats to PSG would crush the ego, will and determination of many, but I'm not your average cat. As Apollo said, "Without some damn war to fight, then the warrior may as well be dead, Stallion!" Get up off the floor, and off we go to start again. GG Ed.

on paper an awful game, on the pitch an awful game, in total an awful game, both teams cancelled each other out and created very little to no chances and 90 minutes of the worst football ever passed and everyone in the stadium fell asleep, wish i could say GG but it just was not. BG mate lol
