We battered Huddersfield but sadly couldn't find that elusive goal to give us the win. In the end that was more down to our wasteful finishing rather than anything. If we can fix that then we have a good chance of building on our decent league position. One win, four draws and no losses isn't a bad start to the season but would be nice to get some more victories on the board.

Reporter: A 2-1 loss against Sunderland. What are your thoughts on the match?
HD: It's a disappointing result for us. We felt we had the upper hand in terms of the stats, but football is decided by goals. Sunderland took their chances well, and we have to acknowledge that. Our tactics didn't pan out as expected, which is something we'll be looking closely at in our review.
Reporter: What do you think went wrong tactically?
HD: We opted for a 3-2-2-2-1 European setup, anticipating Sunderland's play to be based on consolidation and counter-attacking given their relatively poor start to the season. However, they countered effectively with their 4-1-2-2-1 Passing strategy. Our formation and strategy may have limited our effectiveness in key areas of the pitch, and we struggled to adapt quickly enough to Sunderland's tactics.
Reporter: Despite the loss, you're still top of the league on goal difference. How do you plan to bounce back from this setback?
HD: Our focus remains on the long-term objectives for the season. This loss, while regrettable, is part of the journey. We'll analyze our performance, identify areas for improvement, and prepare rigorously for the upcoming matches. We have a resilient team, and I'm confident we'll bounce back stronger. It's crucial that we learn from this game and apply those lessons moving forward. We still have a lot of football to play this season, and our goal is to maintain our position near the top of the table.
Reporter: Could you elaborate on the key areas that need improvement following this match?
HD: Primarily, we need to refine our tactical flexibility. We've seen how a slight mismatch in tactics can influence the outcome. We'll work on varying our strategies to adapt better to different opponents. We'll also focus on finishing our chances more effectively and maintaining defensive solidity, especially in crucial phases of the game.
Reporter: How do you keep the team's morale high after a loss, especially when you've been leading the league?
HD: It's about perspective and focusing on the positives. We are still at the top, and that's because of our strong performances so far. We'll remind the team of their capabilities and the success they've already achieved. It's important to view this loss as a learning opportunity rather than a setback. Maintaining a positive team environment and reinforcing our belief in our abilities will be key.
Reporter: Lastly, what's your message to the fans after this game?
HD: We seriously appreciate your continuous support, Reds. We are bitterly disappointed today, but we will be coming back stronger. We're determined to keep fighting for every point. We're still in a strong position, and I'm sure most people would have bitten my hand off for a start like this!
Another Poor Referring Decision Costs Millwall As They Make It Four Games Without A Win
Norwich City 1 Millwall 0
Scorers
McCallum (49th Minute)
Millwall's poor form continued after a very poor refereeing decision sent the Lions to 18th in the League table with them earning only one point from a possible twelve.
Make no mistake this was Millwall's worse performance of the season by far but they still slightly outplayed the home side but again ended up with zero points.
The game was not a great spectacle with quite a few fouls which stopped the game flowing and despite Millwall having slightly better of the first half it ended 0-0.
The pivotal moment of the match happened in the first action of the 2nd half when Ui Job overhit his passed but it somehow found McCallum whose shot was saved by Trafford on the line but yet again the wanky FFO referee awarded goal when even Stevie Wonder could see it did not cross the line, but Norwich had the lead on 48 minutes.
The Lions spirit was not in questions and it just was not their day as Flynn Downes hit the bar in the in the 82nd minute and Jeremiah Israƫl St. Juste saw his 92nd minute effort hit the post as Millwall failed to score for the 2nd time this season and the 2nd away League game in a row.
Millwall had 54% possession and created 10 chances to the six fingered Canaries 7 with both sides having 4 shots on target each.

It really pisses me off the way these corrupt FFO officials make disgusting decisions that costs us the game. The referee and his other officials are hiding in their changing rooms as they know they are a joke giving a goal that never was. Yes this was our worse performance of the season but we slightly outplayed a stronger team at their home ground and never really looked in trouble other than having to worry about bogus officials as we are technically playing 14 men at the moment.
Look No One Likes Us I get it but for the love of God something has to be done about these shit decisions we seem to always be on the wrong end of.
