    MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 Manchester City

    Picked off and pretty fortunate to come away with a draw is the honest truth. I didn't expect City to set up how they did today, this is I think the first time in all my tenure Nick has played a back 5 against myself whilst an United. They scored with the first action then we had to chase tails and did concede a lot of the ball. Porro popped up in the second half, probably just as we started to gamble everything forward, I suppose it's the auction signings day today given the two scorers.

    But the biggest test we've had thus far, and it's a good point for us on reflection, but not our finest performance by anymeans,

      Aston Villa 2-2 Blackburn Rovers

      A game that we controlled but failed to win. We took the lead early in the game but our opponents who never offered that much of a threat went in at the break leading by two goals to one. We ended up salvaging a point at the death and looked at this as a good thing but we should be doing better. It seems our keeper is letting us down badly, I know he is a downgrade in ability but he should be doing much better than what he currently is doing. Extra training required.

        Barnsley 1-3 West Ham United

        The end of a rough week for the Tykes after 2 league defeats and scrapping through in the cup. We got things back to 1-1 at one point but in truth never looked like getting anything from the game and compounded our misery with Ismaily getting sent off after the Hammers third.

          Chelsea 1 Newcastle 0

          The sending off of Prowse decided this game, but we needed the points so I'm not complaining. A tight game that would probably of ended in a draw had they not have suffered the sending off.On to the next game, unlucky mate.

            Leeds 2-1 Spurs

            didn't reach anywhere near our top level today and got a bit of luck with the spurs red card but we fought our way back into the game and managed to come away with all three points. Good result against a good side and it leaves us the only side in the prem with a 100% record as it stands.

            Well played Edu, all the best for the season bud

              Arsenal 3 - 2 Sheffield Wednesday

              The Gunners continued their good start to the season with a win over Sheffield Wednesday but had to do it the hard way and come back from two nil down to get another three points and mark a much better start to a season compared to seasons gone by. They found themselves two down on the half hour mark but got on back soon after through Correa just before they went down to ten men when Locatelli was given a straight red. But they did get level just before half time when Correa got his second of the game and then on the hour mark, the ten men of Arsenal got the winner with Chiesa picking up his fourth of the season and all three points for Arsenal.

              The Arsenal boss gave his view on the game afterwards ;

              " Another very good performance by us but we once again made hard work of getting the win, going two down and having an important player sent off but credit to the players for keeping with the game plan and getting back into it, scoring two goals at a really important stage of the game and eventually going onto win it and keep our decent start to the season going ".
