Atletico Madrid 1 PSG 3

A second home match and defeat for Atletico and another frustrating result following a good performance. An overall shot count of 12-11 could and should have provided a much better result but Musso was beaten twice by a 7-rated defender who has a stupidly good record of scoring against us in previous games also. Musso 35 saves and 11 conceded is quite frankly disgusting for a 24-rated keeper.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "What a crock of shite that was. We are just not getting a lot of luck this season to date. 6 points from 12, should really have been a minimum of 10. Its a long season so we must remain patient and performances should turn out better results"

Not getting carried away here, we’ve played the bottom 3, and won all 3, plus a game against juventus.

Still not scoring many, but defence is looking sound. Romagnoli with his first goal for Milan to seal the deal.

Monaco 3 - 3 Real Madrid

Entertaining game in the principality. A back and forth, even game. Johnboy usually always puts up a great fight so it was no surprise to find ourselfs in a bit of a battle tonight. We didn't get the three points though and that in our minds in two points dropped. At least the fake galaticos lost, our win against them in the cup putting them into a bit of a tailspin, so we actually gain a point on them but the bad news is PSG march on nicking yet another tight game for them showing they know how to win close games, something we need to re-learn.

Varane is out for 2 games, so we will have a hole to fill in the defence.

Juventus 4 - 0 Borussia Dortmund

Back to back 4-0 wins in league & cup extend our little run of good form. Today we took apart a Dortmund team who we felt we could really have a god at due to their lack of a quality strikeforce so we opted for A.

Dortmund countered us, as expected, but it didn't take long for us to open the scoring. D_Kulusevski scored after just 4 minutes to give us the lead.

We made the switch to P as Dortmund pushed men up the pitch but just 6 minutes later we'd made it 2-0 through F_Wirtz.

Dortmund felt like they should have been given a lifeline on 34 minutes in the form of a penalty however a VAR check came back with the news they didn't want to hear and we headed in at the break 2 goals to the good.

Into the second half and within 10 minutes of the restart we'd made it 3-0 through F_Wirtz and we went on the hunt for more goals with an A tactic.

We wrapped up the win with our 4th and Wirtz's third in the 88th minute and ran out comfortable winners in the end.

Statistically we dominated the game and deserved to win the game. Good game Niall.

Barcelona 2 Lazio 2

An open and action packed game of football with a share of the spoils the right result. Lazio set out to counter us and immediately took the lead but they changed their approach thereafter and we got level. A first half injury to our best defender didn't help and when Lazio took the lead again in the 84th minute I feared the worst but thankfully substitute Aubameyang got us the point that we deserved in injury time.

It's a game we were looking to win but Lazio are a strong side and on their day can cause anyone a problem. The main positive we can take is that we didn't lose again on the back of our midweek cup exit.

Christensen will miss our trip to Leverkusen so we'll need to shuffle the pack for that one.

Marseille 6-3 Real Sociedad

One of those games that could have gone either way but unfortunately for us it went to the home side. Very even game probably settled by the fact our keeper had a bit of a 'mare. Maybe it's the risk we take by playing a more attacking system this season and hopefully we will reap the rewards long term but can expect a few heavy defeats along the way.

RB Leipzig 0 - 2 Inter Milan

A team who have taken points off big sides this season so we wwre unsure what to expect but we setup to play to our strengths and in the end it got the job done, we were quie dominant tbh away from home in what is a tricky tie with both goals coming early in the first half we looked like adding more but we were not clinical enough but 2-0 away is a good result ans three much needed points, we face Roma next, if they show up with manager whos missing in action after a couple stuffings. gg mate

We backed our A against the usual predictable C from JB. Bayern got the early goal and then a soft penalty in the 2nd half. But we pushed forward, threw Pellegrini on and switched to 4 at the back. We deservedly scored 2 to get ourselves level.

But then the sucker punch 4 minutes into injury time to ruin our 100% league record.
