      Fiorentina 1-0 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

We lost to the team who I feel is the best in the league, we probably have 1 player who might get a run out for them and even with them missing 3 players they were too strong at home. I thought we'd create a little more than we did but I guess the risk of 1 up top limited that. We have no issues with the result Fiorentina showed their prowess. Maybe the turning point was our best player going off injured but even if I got desperate I wont use any excuses, especially not like that.

We have a few new faces joining and we hope to continue to tweak a few bits as we move forward though the season.

        Atalanta 6 - 0 PSV

It was a night to remember this evening as we smashed six past the Dutch giants PSV.

The score line is a little harsh on the Dutch side as they had ten shots on target , but Mattia Perrin made ten saves, whilst we converted six of our eighteen shots on target. Stats were fairly even across the board as both sides passed the ball well, we had slightly more possession, but were just ruthless in front of goal tonight.

The disappointment of the night was when Tijjani Reijnders hobbled off inside the first twenty one minutes, and as a result will miss the next game, but his replacement Michel Ndary Adopo bagged a couple of goals for himself and staked his claim for a starting place for Monday fixture in Oporto.

          Fiorentina 1-0 Shakalaka DingDon

Steve said it all really, though they kept it tight and I feared it would end in a stalemate or worse.
It took a defender to finally score a goal, but I'm not complaining, it's good to finally score and win a game.
We still have 3 players out for next game, and have sold a player too, so it's gonna be tricky for a while.
          Ul dude, good luck rebuilding

            Union Berlin 2-0 Feyenoord

We played hard but it was not enough to beat Union Berlin, they played a spotless match. Maybe some teams can win with 7 attempts and only 4 shots on target, not many though. Kudos to Berlin, well played...

              Rennes 3-3 Villareal

We certainly provided entertainment for the fans in my first home game but they will have gone home unhappy after we conceded two very late goals to throw away our lead.
Hard not to be disappointed with that, feels like a loss but on the balance of play we would have been fortunate if we had hung on to win this one.
Plenty of positives, plenty of negatives which is to be expected at this early stage.

                FC Union Berlin 2 - 0 Feyenoord

Exciting display for a home debut continuing the strong form we've started the season with. Consistent play all round and to yield just 1 goal from 3 games against excellent opposition is wonderful.

                  Ajax 4 - 1 RB Salzburg

Dominance at home, perfect performance from both forwards, with over 10 shots between both. This is how our games have to start looking like.
