Tottenham 0-4 MANCHESTER UNITED

A great result to end the season and fully deserved. This is the kind of display we're capable of on a regular basis but throughout parts of the season we've let ourselves down. We have struggled with injuries and suspensions but the end point is simple we haven't been good enough when it mattered.

3rd in the league is one up from last year, but in Europe we didn't start until it was over and the FA cup final was a disaster display with our depleted squad. But it is what it is.

Well done to Tim at Leeds for a fantastic season, he's done exceptional with Leeds this campaign.

Thanks to JB for all his work this season, and any of the other match runners who've helped to run the game.

Barnsley 4-1 Stoke City

A fantastic way to end the season, with a clinical display and a solid effort from all involved. We sneak into a 13th place finish, winning 16 games this season, and losing the same amount. Palace shocked Liverpool otherwise it would’ve been a 12th place finish. To finish ahead of the likes of cup winners Newcastle and super strong Blackburn is an achievement that shouldn’t go unnoticed in the footballing world.

An FA Cup semi final, a DB cup runners up medal and a load of emotions along the way. Very proud of this Barnsley season.

Commiserations to the relegated couple. The prem was a very tough and tight affair this year.

Congratulations to Nick and Tim for an exciting end at the top (well done Tim!). I almost clicked your game before mine haha.

Well that was a roller coaster ride of a relegation battle! It was a very close run thing for us but we just about managed to stay up on the final day.

Commiserations to the Prem and EFL teams that did get relegated.

Massive well done to Tim (Leeds and Porto) and Ed for their league titles and to all those that won a cup.

Once again many thanks to JB for all the work you do and to Nick, JB and, on occassion, Johnboy for running the games.

Bristol City 3 - 2 Arsenal

We end the season with another poor result in all honesty as our slump in form kept going until the last game. Not entirely sure we deserved to lose it and in all honesty, we should be winning games like these but the result nor the table lies. Glad to see the end of the season come, a nice break from the game, some players leaving and arriving and we get a chance to go again next season.

Sheffield Wednesday 1 - 2 Aston Villa

The opposition countered us throughout this game which made things rather difficult for us. In what proved to be a tight game we got our noses in front just before the half hour mark only for the Owls to equalise right on the stroke of half time. The second 45 remained tight but we took the points thanks to a late goal from the departing Mo Salah.

Another season goes by and it is only right to thank Jon as well as the other match runners for yet another flawlessly run campaign and especially Jon for all the hard work he puts in to keep the site in tip top shape. Finally congrats to Tim on taking the Premier League title. I'm sure Nick will bounce back.

Leeds 1 - 1 City

Not to be this season, just couldn't string together a run of results.

Huge congrats to Tim on a fantastic season and another championship.

Also thanks to all my opponents for another fun & challenging season.

Wow what a fantastic season. I always said I wanted to compete this season but to actually go and win it is quite some achievement and I am very proud to have done so. Commiserations to Nick, it’s been a brilliant tussle and to go down to the final day is a bit of a classic season. I fully expect you to bounce back mate but it’s great to be competing with you again.
It had been a tough couple of seasons with my side underperforming week in week out but we worked on the team in the summer and tried to get a better balance and it seemed to work. With 2 on their way out and one coming in we have some more work to do until the start of next season to try and get us ready. The aim will be to challenge on all fronts. I am aware that with teams like PSG, Man City, Man Untied, Real Madrid, Roma, Arsenal etc it will be tough to find success but you have to aim high and sometimes like this season everything falls into place.
League titles for Leeds and Porto, I am very happy with my work this season. Can’t do much more than that.
Massive thanks to JB keeping everything going and for running, Nick and Johnboy too. Thanks to all prem managers and those in the conference too for a fun season.
Finally a big thanks to Ed who helped out at the end of the season whilst I got married and went on honeymoon. He did a good job and communicated fantastically. He deserves a portion of the glory and we appreciate his excellent work. Thanks Ed.
One final note, I have found since leaving discord and all the crap and the poisonous few on there that I am back to really enjoying the game for what it is again. I have spoken to many people and I now intend to stay on so long as I am not disadvantaged by not using discord and everything is available on the forum, particularly announcement's and auctions. It’s nice to be back to basics and not get drawn into the rubbish.
I look forward to next season.
