Best display for a while and a deserved win. Good to see the front two getting the goals, but some good enough efforts across the park. Nianzou though, his seasons over but of a shame but does force the minutes and hopefully contributions on Hincapie to help his development. But these are the results we expect and our season hasn't always done that this campaign.
A close game in which the goals flowed. Play also flowed for both teams and by the half way mark we found ourselves two goals to the good. During the first part of the second period Arsenal hit back with two goals of their own to level the proceedings and it was game on. Both sides continued to look lively and more goals were always on the cards, fortunately for us it swung back our way as we ended up taking the three points after finding a couple more goals. It was though a game that could have gone either way so we ended up feeling very grateful about the outcome.
we were pretty ineffective here. Couldn’t really break them down, their quality showed and we have no complaints about the result. Unfortunately Frankowski was a naughty boy and got sent off, we have two games left and we would love to finish as high as we can but it seems about 15th will be the highest. A promising season nonetheless.
A six goal thriller that went from end to end but saw us on the back end of a loss which makes it back to back defeats, an end of season slump in form in which injuries and suspensions and lack of decent depth is a key factor. We actually played well and had we been on the other side of the result, it wouldn't have been anything to raise eyebrows about as we played pretty decent, just wasnt to be. Roll on the end of the season, get the players in that we have signed and go again next season.
