BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
We played a team missing 2 of its main defenders, threw everything at them and still couldn't win.
It's abysmal the form we've been on recently and the sooner the season ends the better for us.
We should have put this one away with the amount of early chances we had, we didn't and got a stung. Brighton switched their set up, and yes fully in the game, no doubt but we should be winning these games not throwing 2 points away.
Bit of a goal fest played out at Elland Road in which we came out of well on top. Both teams set out playing similar tactic and formations and it was Villa that got an early breakthrough. From that point the game became a little more open but we stayed on top and went in at the interval two goals to the good. The second period saw an avalanche of goals that again worked out in our favour. The three points for us was deserved although the four goal margin was rather harsh on the home side. Nice hat trick for Luis Diaz who has spent the whole of the season trailing behind is strike partners.
An overdue win that sees us keep a tiny chance of finishing above the likes of Blackburn and Newcastle. Still a lot of tough games to go, and need to start thinking about how we can further bridge the gap next season. The mind is racing to see how we can improve the defence in particular (even though so far the Goals Against has been very impressive). Everton are a tough side to crack so very happy with this. GG Everton.
A game in which was pretty even so for any side to lose this would have been harsh but it was n the wrong end of a narrow loss. We do miss a defender when ones injured due to lack of depth and yet again we paid the price here. We drop down a few places in th table and face a tough Villa side in the next game at home. Madueke is back for that one which gives us a bit more of an opton.
