    Nottingham Forest 0 - 1 Luton Town

Debuts today for Richarlison, Veerman and Capa which strenghten the team. P vs P and at home we was hoping for better, 14-10 on shots and 10-5 on target suggest we were perhaps unlucky not to get something out of this game. Maybe the new players will need some time to gel. They have until the rest of the season to get together as a team and hopefully attract a new manager which with a top young goalkeeper for the level, improved defence, a good 18-17 AM and a 21 rated striker I'm hopeful they will.

    Feyenoord 3 - 1 Celtic

Home supporters were in for a treat as Feyenoord were able to capture 3 points against top tier club Celtic. The hosts took an early lead at the 10 minute mark when Melando was able to score off a corner. An unlikely mistimed attempt by A_Muric at poaching the ball from a well taken corner, allow Celtics J_Alvarez to even the score in the 33rd. Feyenoords O_Idrissi finished the match with two back-to-back goals, the first in 46th minute off a well timed pass from E_Gutierrez; the second just 10 minutes later with S_Szymanski assisting on the play. The rare home win of late keep The-Club-on-the-Meuse in 7th spot, 1 point ahead of a very hot Valencia who are in optimal form. Final note O_Idrissi’s performance earned him a well deserved MoM.

      Villarreal 0 - 3 West Brom

A game in which we had the better of statistically but my players just didn't bring their finishing boots with them today. The main difference in this game was getting in shots that count. We had a much larger number of efforts at goal than what our opponents had, the difference being a large percentage of our efforts missed the target while a large percentage of West Brom’s shots were actually on target, so much so, we took a good beating.

        Porto 1-0 PSV

Not an unsurprising result, but was more disappointed by the poor performance, we could have lost by more certainly.
Tim went for it with the A, and unfortunately they scored first against our C, and with the changes it got worse.
Sure we missed a player, but no doubt Porto deserved the win, gg Tim
Thank you Feyenoord, but don't beat us in two games time!
Hanging on in there with 3 to go, who is going to crawl over the line first?

          Sunderland 2-7 Frankfurt

This is what we should be doing. Finally we put to bed our chances and our keeper stands relatively strong. Ziyech with 11 key passes, most I think I have seen from a player in one game, and he earns just under 200 abs for his performance. I hope this squad is kept in the game as with someone more focused and disciplined they would surely go up next season. Unlucky Dave, your side will bounce back next season I am sure of it.
