    Newcastle United 1-5 MANCHESTER UNITED

Retribution for the cup? Possibly, but Newcastle did edge the stats, they went attack for the full game which will create chances but they didn't do what we could, convert. Our passing game got into good rhythm and we found ourselves 4 up at the break. It was an open game and a flattering score line but we're taking some positives, Adeyemi now has more goals than DP's, Nkunku dominated the game and other had good games where needed.

We just keep plugging away at the games, they're running out but we just need to keep winning.

      Burnley 1 - 0 Chelsea

Had hoped to pick up points here on the road, and the stats suggest a win for us would not have been undeserved. The game changed though when Burnley flipped to P giving us TA and things was looking up when Werner got sent off reducing us to ten men. This changed the game and the clarets scored soon after and we just wasn't able to get back into it with the reduced fire power.

        Southampton 1 - 0 Arsenal

Well we got what we deserved today with that being nothing from a game where we were poor throughout against Southampton who are having a really good season to be fair. A poor result and to cap it off, Joe Gomez being sent off late on was the icing on the cake. We tried to get a goal, even with a 15 rater in defence for most of the game we struggled to find a way past.

        Well played Jaime.

          Barnsley 2 - 4 Aston Villa

A win we just about deserved against a spirited Barnsley outfit. Tactical advantage belonged to us in the first period but we had to wait until time added on in that half before nudging ahead. The second 45 saw tactical advantage swing the way of the home side and that's when the goals started to flow with the game ending up well in our favour. Star man for us was Mo Salah who netted himself a hat trick.

            Barnsley 2-4 Aston Villa

As I have stated previously, our little lucky run is over, this game was quite even, so we feel a little hard done by conceding 4 (rare) and losing. We gave it our all against a far superior side, so the fans have gone home relatively happy, but we are slipping down the table. We would love a mid table finish but with a very hard run in (Chelsea, City to play to just name two!) We are wondering where I next points are going to come from! GG Ian. Cheers. All the best.
