    Leverkusen 1-1 Leipzig

Not sure what more we could have done in this game, we battered down the doors but couldn’t get the finishing touch, but Leipzig held their own despite being against HA and TA all game.

well played Mike.good luck for the rest of the season

      Sociedad 0-3 Roma

Despite our unintentional time wasting tactic of changing formation every minute we couldn't keep the Italians out and suffered the loss. Probably overthought our tactics but going for N instead of C thinking Roma might spice it up (and still wanting that security that N counters A if they went for that) but they went with their reliable attacking tactics and that was too much for us. Onto the next game. Well played Derek.

        Monaco 4 - 3 Real Madrid

Through a series of unfortunate events, my disregard for my religious practices has earned me the ire of an enigmatic cosmic force, and it seems that the once-kindred powers that watched over me have now chosen to shower RM with a relentless streak of shit and adversity. 0-3 up only to end 4-3 down. I seriously express my disappointment with the divine order of things. GG Johnboy.

          Atletico Madrid 0 Lazio 0

Lazio have been pretty mean in defence all season and came with a 5-man long ball tactic that often stifles games. Atletico struggled to make in roads expecting Lazio to counter and the game fizzled out goalless.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "Its another point and nearer the end of the season but Bayern and Barce made good ground on us and we have entered some sticky form winless in three with two really hard games next up. We need one really good performance from these otherwise we will be slipping down the table".

A tight game meant a night of few abs and a number of players remain frustratingly just away from an upgrade.

Further minutes were given to Glik and Coleman but they still require 16.29 and 13.29 per game respectively.

          Good game Drum.

            Sociedad 0 3 Roma

With the Roma Way in free flow Real adopted some time-wasting tactics in a desperate attempt to minimise the scoreline. Hopefully the FFO Powers will investigate such outrageous behaviour.

Our incredible run continues and in any other season (or any other league) we'd have the title in the bag.

But PSG continue to stride towards the title - aided by pathetic performances by the likes of Juventus.

The messages of support we are receiving suggest the whole of FFO are behind us. We'll fight until the end in quest for the treble and on behalf of all the other clubs.

A win is a win. At this stage we just need to keep plugging away. Another player injured, seems its my turn for the shit luck but this is why we bought Broz and Martinez.

                Juventus 0 - 2 PSG
Solid win against a Juventus team/manager/performance branded pathetic by the Roma boss. Harsh words against someone who was one of Roma's top cheerleaders during the last week. But looking at the match report, perhaps Derek is correct - 7 shots at home from a team in 3rd is pretty pathetic. Pleasing to get revenge against the last team to beat me in the league. Our hosts will possibly blame their defeat on losing their goalkeeper, but the winning goal had already gone in by that point.
16 points needed to prevent a very tenuous treble. but we still have some extremely tough games against Barcelona,
Real Madrid, and Roma to come.

                  Juventus 0 - 2 PSG

A poor performance from us today, but not us rolling over as some have suggested.
We knew PSG would use C/E so we wanted to us A to try to get the first goal but it didn't quite work like that as the visitors scores against TA on 25 minutes.

We lost our GK to injury 6 minutes from half time and he'll miss our next game away to Rangers.

Into the second half and PSG doubled their lead just before the hour mark and against a team this good, there's no coming back from 2 down these days.

Statistically we were poor, and well beaten. Onto the next one.

                  Good game Ed.

                    Barcelona 3 Marseille 0

Both sides played attacking throughout the 90 minutes. We lost Saint_Maximin to injury virtually straight from the kick off but we've got good depth and it didn't look to affect us too much.

15 shots on target to 1 doesn't really paint a fair picture as the overall shot count was a closer 22-11, we were just far more accurate with ours. Good to see Jesus netting again keeping him right in the chase for top scorer.

We're kind of going through the motions a bit as the final league placings are no longer vital to us, it's fair to say we've already started to look to next season with a couple of good additions already agreed.

                      Bayer Leverkusen 1 - 1 RB Leipzig
A tough away fixture began with Leverkusen taking the lead on the half hour through Bayer's De_Vrij but minutes later Leipzig's opposite number Mckennie equalised minutes later to make it all square on the half time. Leverkusen had the most possession and were banging on the door but RB hung on to gain a valuable point.

eos blues but we managed a point over a good manager, and team.

last couple seasons have seen atleti come into the fore, and it’s refreshing,

we are walking tightropes going through the final games of the year, 3 or 4 on a possible 1 game ban, and Mbappe gets a yellow to get a 2 game ban,

we move on, DPT is certain I think, but very slim chance of CL

not hopeful but won’t give up.

                          Monaco 4 - Real Madrid 3

When we travelled to Madrid earlier in the season we lost a very one-sided game 1-0 and we were somewhat fortunate to escape with that result.

For the visit of Real Madrid to the Stade Louis II we actually named a near indentical starting line-up, the only change being Gollini in goal replacing the departed Hradecky, and when we went 3-0 down in the opening 25 minutes I was definitely questionning whether I had made a massive tactical error.

The third goal going in prompted some tactical changes however, with Jovetic and Arthur both dropping back slightly to play off Immobile rather than alongside him and 10 minutes later it had an impact as Cresswell beat Donnarumma with a shot from distance, this prompted the two attacking midfielders to puch forwards again and immediately the deficit was further reduced as Immobile chipped the onrushing keeper.

3-2 down at half time meant the game was there for the taking by both sides, but then 2 goals in 3 second half minutes from Monaco captain and top-scorer Jovetic saw Monaco take a lead against Real Madrid for the first time in nearly 160 minutes of football. Both teams had attempts on goal after this but couldn't breach the opposition defences any further and we come away with a good victory, albeit alightly against the run of play.

                          Good game Steve.

                            Inter Milan 2 - 2 Sporting Lisbon

We took a risk today, Sporting have not changed formation and tactic in a good few games and we expected a lazy same formation and sytle from them but as these things usally pan out they changed things up against us and countered us, my fault for perhaps falling into the trap and not changing it up quick enough but ill be surprised if they keep mixing it up to end of season now, we lost two goals one early in the first half and one on the 59th minute where Sporting must have thought they had the three points but we went all out attack and battered the absolute arse off them and scored two very late goals but i must admit its two points dropped we deserved the win today the stats show how one sided the game was, perhaps aided by Sportings red card but i can only blame myself for predicting how Sporting would set up and not responding quick enough. gg mate
