Teamsheets MUST be in by 3pm on Game Day
BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
Never easy travelling to Lisbon, despite their league position. And going 2-0 down I feared the worst.
But in a game where TA didn’t matter, we went from being 2-0 down and flipped it on its head to be leading 3-2 with 5 minutes to go, was gutted to concede with one of the last kicks of the game, but in truth we were lucky to be ahead and lucky to get a point out of this game.
Diabolical performance that wasn't helped going 0-2 down early doors with Donnarumma once again showing early big transfer move nerves. Could have been 0-3 down if it wasn't for a disallowed goal. A penalty got us back into it from Rodrygo but Sociedad went off script and got a 3rd goal! With time running out Elliot got us a 2nd goal and we hoped for a third but it didn't come.
Shameful peformance. We're not that bothered about the results on the run it but I expect better performances than this. We expected the C from Sociedad but we should be smashing that at home even against TA. Yeah, odd one. We're getting a bad run of the dice at the moment. GG Freddie great win for you even on the stats.
Do not have a clue where that came from but we'll take it. Knew Steve would probably go A so we naturally opted for C. We've had lots of games this where we have countered and lost so it's an unusual result for us.
The two Ibrahim's, Sangare and Konate got the goals for us and also put in excellent personal performances.
Before this game I thought that was the end of our season but this has given some hope.
Madrid are a classy side and top manager so this is a big win.
Played Steve, unlucky.
If ever a game highlights the importance of a good goalkeeper this was that game.
We had more possession than Lazio, we had more shots on target than them as well. The difference between the 2 sides was the goalkeeping, De Gea saved 8 out of the 9 shots we had on target, our goalkeeper managed to save 1 out of 4.
If you can't keep the ball out of your own net it doesn't matter what you've got further forwards.
Disappointed as I had this as a game we could get something out of, which we'll need if we're going to get back into the DPT next season.
PSG 2 - 1 BMG
With BMG having a depleted squad I tried to come up with a combination of tactics to cover all eventualities, but something must have gone wrong as it ended up just being an A/E flip. Statistics not as positive as i expected, probably the unreliable E part. Managed an unconvincing win against a team that beat us earlier in the season. Next up is a tough visit to 3rd pace juventus who are also on a great run, so something will have to give.

After a night of celebrating on Tuesday night, the boys were back in training Wednesday afternoon ready for this clash against a team who have surprised many this season. Mainly riding the S_Mane wave with him scoring 28 goals so far this season.
We knew that Napoli were without 2 key defenders so we opted to go all out attack in the hope that we could just outscore them.
I didn't really know what Chris plays etc but I was shocked to see 4312E to open the game, but this gave us TA and long time Roma target A_Isak put us ahead in the first minute and we were off to a flyer!
The half went back and forth with both teams creating chances and I felt that a 2nd goal would be needed as we feared the damage that Mane and co could do and just before the break, deep into time added on A_Isak doubled his tally for the day and our lead to send us into the break 2-0 to the good.
Into the second half and whatever Chris said to his players, it worked! After a change of tactics to P, Napoli scored in the first minute of the second half and we had a new fear....Blowing a 2 goal lead.
After more back and forth, we thought Y_Adli had made it 3-1 on 61 minutes, only to see the goal disallowed but we kept plugging away and finally in the 84th minute C_DeKetelaere sealed the win with our 3rd of the game.
Statistically we were the better team, maybe a 2 goal win flatters Napoli a bit but we'll take the result and some decent abs.
Leipzig now unbeaten in 5 games which is incredible and going into this match against Atletico Madrid, who themselves were on a long unbeaten run, wholly expected the run to come to an end. But again another 3 points with goals coming from defender Bernat and striker Milik, obviously Leipzig didn't have it all there own way with Madrid dominating the stats but the gods are with RB and this win takes them into 17th place.
The result of a match is always important but I've never been so unconcerned about the outcome of one given the week we've had. Really couldn't give a monkeys if we lose all our remaining league matches and finish bottom half, we've qualified for next years CL as champions so it's all going to be about trying to boost the players development the rest of the way.
The way to do that appears to be playing attacking football and that's what we did throughout, never looking to take our foot off the gas even when we led 2-0. No doubt it cost us the 3 points but it was a dominant performance from us and the outcome is a bit of a travesty - but really I can hardly complain about that when you see what happened the other night when the shoe was on the other foot in our favour.
Ironically we have dominated sides this season and struggled to score, today was not one of those days, we did not play good but found ourselfs 3-2 winners, we slid into a rapid 2-0 deficit within 11 minutes and i thought we are in for a long game here but we pulled two back just as quick on the 12th and 17th minute and then took a battering for rest of the game but got the vital goal for all points on the 73rd minute, we are catching both Madrid sides and need to keep the pressure on as Real sit a point ahead and Atletico three. gg mate
Atletico travelled to Germany full of confidence after a good run in the league. The confidence was written all over the performance but sadly not the result. Most days a 12-22 shot count is enough to win games but Atletico had another off day in front of goal and Musso another less than inspiring performance.
Manager Simon Marsh commented "Such a frustrating game given Barca, Bayern and Real all lost. We really could have more or less cemented a top-6 position and kept pace with 3rd place. All we can do is pick up the pieces and go again".
No players levelled up but several are closing in.
J_Gammelby 27 den 1 13 12 6 managed to meet his 200 minutes to be retained next season. 21 substitute appearances over the season. There are no excuses for teams not making the minutes for players.
Glik and Coleman remain the only players needing minutes.

Good game Drum, good luck in the run-in
DDG proved his worth here with a dominant gk performance,
as stated the monaco side probably deserved more from the tie but N_Mazraoui (21), K_Mbappe (40,89) saw us through, and it also keeps bayern and barca on there toes,
although based on some of our perfomances i think dpt is probably where we are at right now.
