Barnsley 0-1 Celtic
We tried our best! Worked hard to hold TA the majority of the game, but couldn’t find a way to break down a determined Celtic side. Both sides struggled to create a lot, and it was the man who we lost out by 1million in the auction who set up the decisive goal right near the end of the game for Richarlson who surely will leave Celtic a hero. Honoured to have made the first DBC final and truly surprised we made it and have no complains with the result against a side who will hopefully cause some upsets next season if they shall gain promotion. Congratulations Sam. -
Well done Sam, great stuff mate. Unlucky to Barsnley, having a cracking season aswell.

"Wow, I honestly wasn't sure if our luck had enough left in the tank to get this over the line... Barnsley setup about as correct as they could and thats a massive Credit to Anthony... they really have had a great season and on another day they probably deserved more, it's astonishing to me that it's my first cup win and of all cups and all seasons it's this one that we take home to put in the trophy cabinet, it means the absolute world to me and I honestly can't believe that after being so close to elimination after the first leg of the quarter finals we've managed to dust ourselves off, get through a very tough semi final and win an even tougher final... I think unfortunately for any of my opponents they've had an extra bit from the universe working against them... it's one that will love long in the memory bank....
